A lovely studio flat located in a vibrant and friendly area of West London with very good transport links. The privacy means you can make your own food and are free to come in and out as you please. There is a separate kitchen and bathroom and the living room is divided from the bedroom by a curtain. It is perfect for two to three people. There is a single bed and the sofa turns into a double bed so the choice is yours! I also have a spare camp bed so can accommodate up to four people if needed.
Provided: Bed linen and towels.
You have the whole studio flat to yourself. You can use the kitchen to prepare you own food freely and are free to come in and out as you please without the fear of disturbing anyone!
Interaction with Guests
I like to meet all my guests in person and normally pick up guests from the nearest station. Of course I will not be at the studio with you during your stay but I am always only a phone call away if you need anything!
I love my area, there are many nice places to visit nearby such as the beautiful Ravenscourt Park and the River Thames.
For entertainment the two local theatres (the Lyric Theatre and Riverside Studios) both put on great plays at great prices. Of course there is also the Hammersmith Apollo where many renowned events and concerts take place.
There are two shopping centres nearby, Kings Mall in Hammersmith and Westfield London (the biggest shopping centre in mainland Europe!) in Shepherds Bush. Chiswick High Street is also a nice place to do some shopping. In addition, there is a Tesco Express (a mini supermarket) that is open from 7am to 11pm daily, less than a two minute walk away!
As well as many cafes, there are also many international restaurants (Indian, Thai, Japanese, New Zealand, Italian, Chinese, Argentinian, North African and more) nearby on Kings Street and there are many traditional British pubs along the river.
The nearest stations are Ravenscourt Park (the closest) and Hammersmith (a few bus stops away). Ravenscourt Park is on the District line and Hammersmith is on both the Piccadilly line (goes direct to Heathrow) and the Hammersmith and City line. There is also the Hammersmith Broadway bus station with buses that take you all over London.
> 10 minutes to South Kensington
> 15 minutes to Piccadilly Circus
> 20 minutes to Westminster
> 25 minutes to Heathrow Airport
*I also have a vintage folding bike and you are very welcome to use it if you prefer to cycle!
Turn off the heating (radiators) and electrical appliances (lights, TV etc) each time you leave the house.
Open the bathroom window when taking a bath or shower.
Open the kitchen window when cooking.
Ensure the house is clean and tidy when you check out.
I do not charge a cleaning fee so I do expect all guests to clean up after themselves before checking out. A vacuum cleaner and cleaning products for the kitchen, bathroom and toilet are provided.

very nice flat，and super convinent！！！Kate is a great host and very thoughtful! I will definitely come to this flat next time coming to London!
Nice flat; compact, clean, comfortable and quiet. Easy walk to the nearest tube. There is a Tesco round the corner, coffee shops and a variety of restaurants. Better than a 'family room' in a hotel
Kate is really friendly and nice. Checking in and out were easy, and Kate went out of her way to coordinate early check in for us. The flat is in a convenient location.
The apartment did have a strong mold smell which my girlfriend was allergic to.
Kate is warm and friendly. Her flat is in a fantastic location. It is in lovely residential area, with many restaurants and grocery stores around the corner. The underground and plenty of bus connections are just steps away.
We had everything we needed during our stay - wifi, washing machine, and use of the kitchen. The shower was tricky to use, but once we figured it out it was just fine.
Checkin was also a bit tricky. We landed from an international flight at noon and ultimately were not able to check in until 5 or 6pm. We were still able to make use of the afternoon by stowing our bags at a bag locker in central London and taking a long walk.
Besides that, we had a wonderful stay and checkout was seamless. I would definitely stay at Kate's flat again. Thanks Kate!
Kate was very nice and welcoming. She met us at the tube station with everything needed. We did not spend much time in the flat, but we slept very comfortably.
Our flights were cancelled and we therefore had to arrive a day later when Kate was nearby. We made arrangements for the key but the instructions to get to the apartment were very difficult since I couldn't access my voicemail and she didn't send them via email. The apartment was fine and the neighbourhood is perfect.
