About this listing
A real parisian flat. You'll leave like a real French.
This flat in an elegant 19th century building has been our family home since 1914.
The apartment under your feet, the mirror and moldings constitute more than a century of history. We treasure it all and will change nothing. This past is our past and yours too, and we must preserve its traces.
As furniture, kitchen appliances, TV and WIFI, all is modern, practical and ideal for short stays.
We stay here ourselves when we come to Paris.
At last, building work on the courtyard facade is finished. Your stay will be peaceful!

Localisation parfaite. Appartement conforme à sa description. Un tres bon séjour Très bonne literie Excellente adresse
A perfect place for a stay in Paris. Loved the area so deeply entrenched in history. Lovely and bustling area which to me was a reflection of Parisienne life.
I never actually met my host! However, she and her assistant Tony were very responsive and helpful via text/email when I had questions/concerns.
The listing is pretty much as you see it on AirBnB. It does need updates and a couple fixes (the shower would be first on my list!). That said, you simply cannot beat the location, so convenient and fun.
Initially I was concerned about noise level on the busy street but it really did quiet down at night. The newer windows really helped with any noise that there was.
Our family of 3 had a wonderful time!
Ci siamo trovati benissimo, nessun intoppo e tutto assolutamente come descritto da Avital nel suo annuncio. La casa è bellissima, il quartiere spettacolare e la gestione dell'appartamento è stata semplice e spiegata con chiarezza.
Had a great time at this Le Marais flat. Its a little run down, but in a great neighborhood. So many things right out the door. We LOVED the restaurant called Miznon just around the corner. Of course great falafel's just a few doors down too. There is a small supermarket 2 blocks down that was well stocked. And the metro is just a few minutes walk too. The apartment was comfortable for my family of 5 and the kids loved the bunkbed. The street noise was loud when we had the windows open, but disappeared when we closed up for the night. There is no a/c so the place might be quite warm in the warmer months (we were there in early June and it was still pretty mild). There was a fan that we used at night though so we could keep the windows closed (to keep out the noise). We were very comfortable there. The flat is on the 1st story with a small elevator to get luggage up to the room. Avital was pretty strict on the 2pm check-in time, so we had to store luggage at a nearby locker for the first day (we arrived to Paris around 8am). No big deal.
The house was clean and cozy. There is a lock box with the key, so checking in was easy as pie. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great (hot and good water pressure). The TV worked so we were able to catch a couple soccer matches. We didn't really use the kitchen much but it seemed to have everything you might need to cook a small meal. While Avital wasn't the most flexible host, we appreciated the value of the apartment and the fact that its frequently booked which makes it difficult for her to accommodate all requests. I say book it! We would do it again.
The apartment is located in the middle of the most beautiful quarters of Paris. Nice little shopps, lots of restaurants. Just great. The apartment is very convenient.
Everything worked out very well, allthough the owner was not present.
