A real parisian flat. You'll leave like a real French.
This flat in an elegant 19th century building has been our family home since 1914.
The apartment under your feet, the mirror and moldings constitute more than a century of history. We treasure it all and will change nothing. This past is our past and yours too, and we must preserve its traces.
As furniture, kitchen appliances, TV and WIFI, all is modern, practical and ideal for short stays.
We stay here ourselves when we come to Paris.
At last, building work on the courtyard facade is finished. Your stay will be peaceful!
Our apartment is extremely well located at 26 Rue des Rosiers, the heart of Parisian life, in the Marais. Surrounded by many cafés, restaurants, theaters and other places of cultural and historical interest like the Picasso Museum, the Carnavalet Museum, the Georges Pompidou Center, the Shoah Memorial, Notre- Dame, Place de la Bastille, Place de la République.
On Sunday, the surroundings become a pedestrian zone, with shops open from morning to night in this authentic Paris.
All facilities like a post-office, money-change, bank, supermarket (8am – 22pm, 7/7), bakery, grocery-shops, pharmacy are situated a couple of minutes' walk from the apartment.
The apartment "Rose du Marais," awaits you on the 1st floor of a private street. Beautifully decorated, spacious and romantic, it welcomes lovers of the Capital throughout the year.

Have a nice time in Paris
Lovely little apartment in a fantastic area. The Marais is wonderful and handily loacted for all Paris has to offer. Easily sleeps four but note one bedroom doubles as the living room. Avital is a welcoming and very helpful host. All instructions were clear and everything worked fine. Wi-fi is included that is a helpful bonus.
The apartment was great - just as described - and the location was fantastic. The host was very responsive and easy to deal with.
Très bon rapport qualité/prix
Très grande facilité de remise des clefs
This is very clean, easy to find, useful, good apartment for us.
A bit difficult to use the padlock, but we found out it soon.
The room was very clean but too slippy ( my daughter slipped down twice), the dining chairs also not to be suitable for children ( she fell
down from the chair).
Anyhow the place, cost, size is nice even in Paris! Thanks for all!
The lesson to be learned from my experience was to ask enough questions. I really wished I would have asked if the host would be in town during our stay. The location was great. The place was fine. It was a bit noisier than I anticipated as it was right on a busy street that was busy late each evening, early morning trash pick up each day, and some construction banging close by. That was not really the problem, however. We had difficulty getting hot water while staying there. With the host out of town, it took 2+ days to get hot water. That should not be acceptable, under any circumstances. At its best, AirBNB places should provide an experience for the guest to benefit from the host's knowledge. With absentee hosts, this was an opportunity lost for the 4 of us.
Communication with Avital was excellent and she allowed us to keep out bags in the room for a extra 45mins after the 11am check out which was helpful.
The Apartment we found very basic and tired (Paint peeling from the walls), the towels very thin, the floors very creeky, kitchen very bare and the shower tempremental.
I was glad we did not stay longer than 2 days, we felt it was overprice, a tad dissapointing.
Family of 4 with 2 kids under 9
We had a great stay at this apartment. It's in the heart of the Marais on an excellent street for food and people watching. The apartment was large enough to host our family of four. The beds were comfortable and the building itself is old but pleasant.
Double-pane windows kept most of the street noise out - though garbage trucks daily around 6am are hard to drown out.
The only issue we had was the kitchen. It is small and not well equipped. It's good enough to cook some basic food, but don't plan on doing any major cooking while you're here. You'll be frustrated.
But don't take that as a criticism of the flat. It's great and I would recommend it.
