As published, it was a dream short vacation in Jerusalem for us and staying at Hadas’s eclectic home turned out to be the best part of it.
The environment…the silence, the tiny romantic garden with a hammock by the table, birds singing in the morning, large wrought iron window opening into the lush flora…
Small, but very well equipped, this lovely apartment has all the necessary amenities; furnished simply and tastefully, with good collection of CD’s; some good books for reading.
The place is a few minutes walk from all the attractions, restaurants, cafes but isolated enough from the crowds to have a quiet morning or evening.
Thank you, Hadas, for making our stay utterly memorable.
We will definitely be back.
A nice quiet house with a small and nice flowerfull gardens wifth sun and shadow. Clean house and helpfull host. Alert reaction to questions. Lots of privacy and close to the center of the village Ein Kerem. By car only a few minutes to Herzlmount parking for the tram to the citycenter of Jerusalem in 20 minutes.
I really like Ein Kerem and this apartment! It's decorated with taste and imagination. It was warm although the weather was cold (we used air conditioner, hope the bill for electicity was not big). Fresh flowers meet you everywhere inside. Hadas has a good collection of music and very good acoustic system. And there is a secret terrace with amazing view on the roof!
Wonderful stay, wish we could have stayed longer! We loved the little cottage, the view from the roof, the complimentary strawberries and mint leaves for tea, and the nice welcome from Hadas' husband. This place really is a pastoral village in the middle of Jerusalem. We'd love to come back next year. Thank you for the great stay!
We enjoyed a lovely two days at Hadas' quaint cottage apartment in the lovely valley of Ein Karem, just outside Jerusalem. We only booked the apartment 2 days before arriving as we changed our travel plans at the last minute and Hadas was very quick to respond and to accommodate an early check in time. The apartment was as in the pictures, a lovely little oasis of calm with wonderful views over the valley, and a pretty garden although I think we missed the best of it, having come in winter. Do make the most of the rooftop for the best views of the valley!!
Ein Karem is a fabulous little place: be sure to check out the amazing chocolatier and Mala Bistro where the food is just mouth wateringly good! Also for anything you could want to know and the lovely local produce: veggies, cheeses, baked goods, freshly squeezed juices and wines be sure to go to Gilli's grocer on the corner of the Ein Karem street across from Mala Bistro. Gilli is a wealth of knowledge having lived in the village for 21 years. And do climb the Roman Grove on the hill if you get a chance. The view is priceless!
Hadas was a fantastic host, easy to reach and quick to respond and we would highly recommend a stay at her lovely place if you are looking for an oasis of calm and relaxation. Thank you for a lovely time Hadas!
