Private room available in great neighborhood 2 blocks to Cleveland Park/Greenville Zoo, 15 minute walk to downtown (1 mile). Convenient to I-385 and I-85. 10 minutes from Haywood Mall, Woodruff Road. 15 minutes to Pelham Rd.
Kristian and I are locally involved young professionals willing to show you around town. I moved here in 2008 and stayed in a hotel until I found a place to live - don't let that be you! Get to know the area before you sign your lease or put a house under contract.
1 queen bed available, shared bathroom, fenced-in backyard, garage for temporary storage. Great book & dvd selection, wireless internet access. SO STINKIN CLOSE to downtown. I'll refer you to some fantastic restaurants, too.
Double air mattress available for additional guests (2+). The webpage says we're in the Maple Grove neighborhood, but it's really Nicholtown... not sure where Maple Grove is.
We do have 1 very sweet dog named Daisy. She's a 30 lb rescue and will beg for food and belly rubs. She is not allowed in the guest bedroom.
Perfect location for members of touring productions that come through The Peace Center!

Come stay a while!
I truly recommend to sleep here! The house is nice and clean! It is a nice walk to downtown. Meghan and Kristian will make you feel at home!
Excellent stay! comfortable, clean, inexpensive, private but not solitary, professional and courteous communication.
I had a wonderful experience at Meghan & Kristian's house. Both of them are outgoing and friendly. Their home is beautiful, they keep it at a comfortable temperature, their dog is adorable and perfectly behaved (she likes sleeping on the couch snuggled under a blanket). The neighborhood appears to be busy, but is deceptively quiet - I slept like a rock every night. They're only five minutes or so from downtown, five minutes from the YMCA, and two minutes from the Swamp Rabbit Trail (a great venue for running). I will ABSOLUTELY return.
Lovely couple, lovely home, very comfy bed, extremely convenient to convention center and downtown. Would definitely go back, in a heartbeat!
My stay with Meghan and Kristian was during the first weekend of November. Meghan and Kristian's home is a convenient 8-10 minute drive to downtown and made for the perfect location to stay while I attended a convention.
Prior to my checking in, Megan and I coordinated a check in time via email without any issues. The check in on Friday afternoon was very quick and smooth. Megan has a great personality and it was fun to visit with her on the occasions when our paths crossed. She provided some good tips on things to do around downtown as well as what to expect for parking.
The room and bathroom were just as described and matched up with the listed photos. The bed itself was very comfortable and I slept soundly all three nights of my stay. Their dog Daisy was very approachable, friendly and quite accommodating of strangers petting her. Overall, my stay in Meghan and Kristian's home was a relaxing and comfortable oasis compared to the alternative of staying in a uniform and antiseptic hotel room.
I would stay again if the opportunity were to present itself.
About a week before my stay, I had a "am I out of my bloody mind?" moment. I've done airbnb before, but always with my husband. This time I was traveling alone, and about to stay in a stranger's house.
I looked back over Meghan and Kristian's reviews, and felt comforted a bit, but it was still a leap of faith for me. It wasn't until I arrived that I knew that it had been a good decision.
Meghan welcomed me warmly, introduced me to Daisy (the "guard dog"), and showed me my bedroom. The house was fantastic, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom much nicer than it looks in the picture (also much nicer than the one at my house!). They have obviously hosted a lot of people, and were very well-organized and thoughtful.
At this point I stopped feeling foolish... this was actually a very good decision, even as a woman traveling alone. I look forward to returning to Greenville someday, and would definitely stay here again!
Nice, clean house, comfy bed, great value!
Meghan & Kristian are wonderful hosts, beautiful house and central location. I arrived quite late at night and they were very accommodating. Thanks for a great stay!
Meghan and Kristian were excellent hosts, and I had a wonderful first time AirBNB experience. They have a beautiful home and it's centrally located to everywhere I needed to be. Highly recommended.
We were in town for a bike race and were looking for a close place to stay in the downtown area. Great time, super easy check-in, and very accommodating hosts! We had to leave early in the morning and were provided with a coffee maker the night before which was a huge saver. Definitely recommend if you're coming into town!
