Thank you for a fabulous stay! The beds were very comfortable and towels abundant. We appreciate your hospitality! The only negative was that my husband and I woke up hot at night while our son stayed cuddled under blankets in the cold guest room. This probably isn't an issue most times of the year but, as hot as it was during our visit, an additional av source for the master bedroom is needed. Otherwise, we absolutely loved our stay and would return.
We didn't get to meet Kelly, but Nancy was wonderful! The cottage was cute and simply perfect for our trip. It was over 100 degrees outside yet the little AC unit kept the cottage nice and cool. All in all, a simply perfect experience and highly recommended.
Kelly and Nancy's cottage is warm and inviting. With its two bedrooms it was perfect for our family of 3. Unfortunately, as we drove to and from Yosemite daily, we did not have a chance to enjoy the backyard or see the deer that previous guests saw in the charming yard. Nancy was helpful with tips that we followed during our daily trips to Yosemite. Thank you Nancy!!
The cottage is a great place to stay in the area. It is a short drive to Yosemite and it is situated in a gorgeous mountainside location. We ended up having to get in really late and Kelly and Nancy were very easy to get a hold of, they were so understanding and flexible, and they were also very thoughtful to leave out drinks and snacks for when we finally did arrive. We got in very late, and basically woke up and left, but not before seeing a deer trot by just outside the cottage! We would absolutely love to stay at their cottage again. It is lovely and the hosts were fantastic!
Sorry about the patio having spiders. We knock them down every day and they come back fast. That is how it is living in the mountains. As far as dusty we are in a drought and water shortage so we can only sweep our patios being very careful of water use. We have been having high winds thru the night so that blows in dirt. Please understand. Right now until we get rain and out of the drought things will be a little dusty and very dry.
We were meet as soon as we arrived and Nancy showed us round the cottage and showed us the extensive provisions she had laid out for our enjoyment. She then allowed us to settle in. The cottage was exactly as described. The neighbourhood was delightful and very peaceful. The deer wandering through the garden were an extra bonus for us.
The house was really beautifully located in the nature. In the morning we even saw dear in the neighbors garden. The bed was huge and comfy. We used it as a base for Yosemite, it was a 2 hour drive though to Yosemite valley and I found this a bit too far as a base. We also got lost when we first tried to find it as our navigation wanted us to go over some unpaved mountain roads close to the South exit from Yosemite. When you come from Yosemite best take the arch rock exit to Mariposa and then take 49.
