Apple Ridge Farm's Cozy Suite is located in the downstairs of our Starr's House Lodge - a charming, rustic lodge with wrap around decks. This suite includes the private use of the entire downstairs of the Lodge. It has 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds (sleeps 6 people), a large living room with dining table, game table, Roku TV & love seats; 1 full bath & 2 half baths. This rental is Pet Friendly with a $25 per pet fee. All proceeds support Apple Ridge Farm, a non-profit that "Helps Kids Grow!"

The space
With this rental you get the entire downstairs of the Lodge to yourselves! This rental has a rustic lodge feeling, cozy indoor and outdoor sitting areas, a beautiful mountain view, and hiking trails right behind the building. This is a great rental space for families.

It includes a bunk room bedroom with 2 bunks that sleep up to 6 people. It has a full private bathroom off of the bedroom with a shower stall. There are 2 restrooms in this suite as well as a dining room/living room area with a TV screen with Roku for streaming.

Onsite Activities:
There are 4+ miles of hiking trails on our property for guests to enjoy as well as tennis & basketball courts, pickle ball court, ball field, horseshoe pit, fire pit located at our ball field, and a picnic table area.

Since 1978, Apple Ridge Farm has been a 501 c3 nonprofit organization providing environmental education and summer camp experiences, field trip programs, and afterschool programs for more than 80,000 youth, many from inner-city neighborhoods and public housing projects.

Our 96-acre mountain property is a magical place for youth and adults alike. We hope you will come stay with us and experience that magic for yourself.

Apple Ridge Farm's beautiful rural 96-acre education and retreat center is located in Copper Hill, VA Floyd County, nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains which affords visitors exposure to the beauty and prestige of SW Virginia's natural charm. We are located in a rural setting with lots of countryside charm and natural habitats.

Onsite Activities:
There are 4+ miles of hiking trails on our property for guests to enjoy as well as tennis & basketball courts, pickle ball court, ball field, horseshoe pit, fire pit located at our ball field, and a picnic table area.

Onsite Driving Conditions:
Apple Ridge Farm is located on mountainous terrain which has a gravel driveway through its property. It is a 1/8 mile drive on our gravel road to get up to where the lodge is located. AWD and 4WD vehicles are recommended, but not required to get to the lodge. Please note that low riding vehicles such as sports cars may have difficulty getting to the lodge area.

Other things to note
The Lodge is a Smoke Free and Pet Friendly rental.

Smoking is permitted outdoors.

Caboose #1, Caboose #2, and the Lodge are all Pet Friendly. However, Caboose #3 is not pet friendly.

Caboose #1 sleeps 4 people, Caboose #2 sleeps 2 people, and our Lodge B&B Suite sleeps 6 people.
