The most exclusive and safe area of Paris.
In the middle of everywhere, in the central heart of greatest monuments and places of Paris.
Eiffel tower, Trocadéro place, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées, Grand & Petit Palais, Avenue Montaigne, Avenue du faubourg Saint Honoré, ... are all next door, meaning maximum 15mn walking distance!
- Georges V: 1mn walk from home
- Etoile: (bottom top of Champs Elysées): 3 mn walk from home
From Gare de Lyon:
- direct line [ligne jaune (yellow) also called ligne number 1], direct till George V tube station.
- or cab (cost about 12 to 22 euro depending if day or night, week end rate or not). Ask the cab to go through "les quais, Alma and avenue Marceau". Sad to say, but most of Parisian cabs are dishonnest and will drive you around the town before ending to your place if you appear a foreigner/tourist/traveler. Then better to show you know where you're going to ...
From Gare du Nord:
- cab (between 12 and 18 euros). Just mention the address.
- underground ti stop of George V or Etoile (tube station at the bottom top of Champs Elysées), respectively 1 and 3 mn walk from home.
From CDG (Charles de Gaulle) airport; you may also catch the bus which ends at "arc de triomphe" (bottom top of champs élysées, and from there just walk down avenue marceau for 5 mn and you will reach the place (junction between avenue marceau and avenue pierre 01er de serbie).
And consider point 2 [for your information, be aware that "arc de triomphe" and "place de l'étoile" are a unique and same stop - 5mn walk from home - ; the last one of the bus, and the one you'll then go out of the bus. At this same stop, you may also pick up a bus for your return trip to go to charles de gaulle airport].
Better to catch a cab for about 28 - 35 euros
Buses and trains are headache from Orly as you'll have to catch a bus, then walk few hundreds of meters, then a tube ... for a minimum cost of 12 euros per person!
When leaving to train station or airport, instead of trying to catch a cab in the street (you're never sure if you'll get one in few seconds or tens of minutes - if raining, a friday or saturday evening ... - ) ; you may book one using:
Tel: (phone number hidden)
I expect guests to behave as if it is their own home.
Arroles was an excellent host, welcoming and made it easy for us to get in. It is a beautiful apartment well located for walking the sights, as well as transport elsewhere in Paris. Would definitely look to book again.
Arroles was very accommodating in accepting my booking at the last minute. The apartment is in a very convenient location, overlooking a lovely church. It was clean and spacious. However, I would not describe it as "luxury". The furniture was pretty minimal. The couch (which is also the "second bed") is just a mattress on the floor. Nevertheless, it was a comfortable home for us for the week.
It was very comfortable and the location was really good to go champs-elysees street.
We spent good time in paris thanks to you:)
Arrolès was an excellent host. Very responsive and accommodating to our travel situation. Appreciated that Arrolès checked in during our stay to ensure we were not havng any issues. The unit was in an excellent location and very walkable to a number of sights as well as to the George V Metro station. Would definitely stay on a return visit.
We just enjoyed a wonderful stay at Arroles apartment in Paris. Conveniently located and perfectly appointed, we couldn't ask for anymore from either our host or the apartment. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again during future trips to Paris. A very positive airbnb experience indeed.
Our stay at Arrolès apartment was lovely! The porter has switched on the heater prior to our arrival and welcomed us. The bed was very cosy and the view on the church really nice. We had anything we needed. Most importantly Arrolès did answer us ummediately which was great as our former host cancelled our stay 2 ours before our arrival (apparently a water lack). Both airbnb service hotline and Arrolès solved our situation quickly and warmly.
