The Cottage is located on our 5 acre farm, Rising Star farm. We have dairy goats, chickens and cats. Our house is on the property. Up to 4 guests allowed but best suited for 2 adults and 2 children. Extra $10 per child per night. The Cottage has plenty of parking, a covered patio and a fenced yard with banty chickens. We take great care with our cleaning regimen.

The space
The Cottage is cozy and warm (or air conditioned in summer). Relaxing with games, books and a jigsaw puzzle in progress. Small t.v. with dvd player. Wifi. 110v outdoor outlet for your electric car, bring your own mobile charger. Full kitchen along with toaster, mixer, blender, teapot, keurig and coffeemaker. Pots and pans and other cookware, wine glasses and corkscrew. Available on request crockpot, air fryer and instapot. Bedroom has a comfy king size bed. Livingroom has a double air mattress suitable for children. Bathroom has a walk-in shower.

Guest access
The cottage is self check in and the key and general information are located just inside the door. There are banty chickens in the yard and the gate to the barnyard is just steps from the cottage. After an initial tour with the owner guests are welcome to visit the barn and animals.

Other things to note
Light breakfast items included. Homemade muffins, farm fresh eggs and milk when available. Snacks including microwave popcorn and u-bake snickerdoodle cookies.

The Cottage is located just 2 miles from the community of Lacomb. Lacomb includes a church, a grocery store and a gas station. The Lacomb grocery store has just about anything you might need, including hot deli food, coffee and fountain pop. The gas station has gas (of course) along with excellent coffee, u-bake pizzas made to order and other goodies. We are 16 miles from the towns of Lebanon and Stayton and 18 miles from Albany.
