Urgull is just a few blocks from Zurriola, the beach that borders the neighbourhood of Gros. This comfortable spacious apartment has been completely renovated and boasts hard wood floors. Urgul comprises three double bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom, two single beds, and the third, a hideaway. Urgull is equipped with a modern, fully-fitted kitchen and new bathroom with shower and sink.
The apartment is located in a building with elevator in the neighbourhood of Gros, the perfect location for enjoying Zurriola beach and the rest of the city. The spectacular Kursaal convention centre and concert hall is a five-minute walk from the apartment, and just beyond that, the Old Town and its famous 'pintxo' bars.
Right from the doorstep are some fabulous walks. Head to the Old Town and up Urgull for fantastic views, or watch the waves crashing on the Bay of Biscay as you walk along the Paseo Nuevo seaside promenade to the fishing port and back to the Old Town. Gros is the citys most dynamic and popular neighbourhood, boasting excellent tapa bars, pubs, concert venues, and of course, surfing, the neighbourhoods number one sport.
The Urgull Apartment has an optional parking service for 13€/day which includes a rental bike for free.

The Urumea River separates Gros from the Old Town and from the City Centre by two different bridges, giving it an obvious closeness to them. It borders on the Bay of Biscay at North, on the Ulia Mountain at East and on the Urumea River and the Kursaal Convention Centre at West.
La Zurriola Beach, the newest of them all in San Sebastian, is located in this neighbourhood. It is very popular among surf lovers and professional surfers and it is also just a five minute stroll away from La Concha Beach.
At the end of the promenade along La Zurriola, at the side of the Ulia Mountain, there is an area of houses, pintxo bars and pubs called Sagües. It is a favourite spot among young people. There is also a great esplanade and leisure activity area here.
There are lots of shops all around Gros and in the last few years, it has become a very popular area for those in search of good quality pintxo bars and pubs. However, if what you are looking for is to follow a complete route of typical pintxos, it is a must to finish in the Old Town, just a 7 minute stroll from Gros.
There are some wonderful walks to be enjoyed from Gros to other parts of the city. For instance, starting at Sagües and walking all along La Zurriola promenade until you reach the Paseo (email hidden) when the Cantabrian Sea is rough. From here you can go up the Urgull Mountain, a mere 15-20 minute climb, then come down to the harbour and from there back again to the Old Town and Gros. A trully enjoyable all around walk.
The Gros neighbourhood has several supermarkets and other grocery shops for those of you who prefer to enjoy a more intimate dinner at the apartment.
If you are visiting the city by car, you should know there are three large public car parks in the area: Plaza de Cataluña, Kursaal and Txofre.
Thanks to a modern and wide network of public transport, the Antiguo is very well connected to the other city neighbourhoods. For more information on public transport you can visit the official webpage: (website hidden)
Appartement conforme aux prévisions. Quartier tranquille, appartement nickel, accueil adorable, nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
Very good apartment. Perfect.
Over all the experience was good however my son discovered that he had many red blisters on his back from bed bites. This needs to be addressed.
