Mark and his wife were fantastic hosts. He communicated with me from the minute I booked the reservation until I arrived and was checked in and also when I left. They also brought over some emergency supplies to get me started, like teas, etc. The apartment itself met my expectations as it is clean and the neighborhood was lovely. A word of warning to those who care about their bumpers, the home is on a hill and the entrance to the driveway has a sharp lip to it, so you may scrape your bumper pulling into the driveway. Mark was nice enough to provide a parking pass to park on the street, so that's what I did the rest of the time, so I didn't have to worry about my car. (I have a normal sedan, not a sports car, so my car is not particularly low.) It was easy to find parking in the street, just turn your wheels towards the curb. ;)
One thing I did note is that although there are beautiful views and the heat works great, the house is designed with single paned windows, so it did feel a little drafty, when it was cold and the heat was not on, plus there are no fans in the bathroom, but I also tend to run colder than most people. This did not cause a mold issues, etc. The washer and dryer are downstairs behind the house, in a laundry room and worked great. If you're at home, you can sit in the living room and watch the sunset over the hills as it's a gorgeous sight. This was a great stay and I would stay there again in the summer.
We very much enjoyed our stay in his lovely home. The area is very calm and quiet - there were even deer eating the ivy under our bedroom window in the middle of the night. Magical. Mark was a great and responsive host. We will be back next time we come to visit family.
We spent four nights at Mark's property and really enjoyed staying there. The property is clean and comfortable and has everything you can need. We slept with the windows open in mid-June, and it was lovely. It is located in a quiet area with easy access to anywhere you might want to go. Mark welcomed us warmly and answered all of our questions. We couldn't have asked for anything more.
Mark was very kind, the booking, chek in and check out very easy. The house looked exactly as he showed. The house has room enough for the 5 of us. Good loundry room, big flat tv . Parking place. Quiet neigborhood and safe. 15 minutes from Holliwood, Bel AIR, Sunset Strip, and Rodeo Drive. Every early moorning ( 7:00 or 8:00) we had guest in the back yard, yes, 2 or 3 deers came every day to eat grass in the back yard. We had breakfast looking squirrels on the tree an deers on the yard, that was great !!
Mark was a first-class airbnb host. Mark was a real estate professional renting out a real vacation rental home. A cut above most of the other airbnb house I have stayed at thus far. The house was perfect, clean, like a hotel. Mark was responsive and always answered his phone. Staying in the hills in Glendale was magic. The sunset over the hills was worth the price (which was reasonable). Couldn't park my full-size Altima over the lip to the driveway - but Mark remedied that with a handy parking pass to park on the street. Glendale is mellow suburbia, but totally close to Universal Hollywood and the Warner Brothers Tour in Burbank. Hollywood and all the Hollywood Blvd. sites were very closeby. The ride to Glendale from Zuma Beach (north Malibu) was pretty on Kanen Drive - since we were so far north, we only had to head east; we didn't have to double-back east and south to the dreaded I-405 freeway. Summertime - and the living was easy! THAnks, MArk!
This place was great! EXTREMELY clean and very comfortable... The neighborhood was nice and quiet and mark was a very accommodating host. I look forward to staying there in the future.
What a wonderful and lovely place to stay, I and my family enjoyed the home. Every single thing was available and nothing missed, the unit was very clean. Mark, what a nice and friendly guy, he showed us all respect and kindness since the moment we arrived until we left. I highly recommend the place and in the future if I got the chance to come to Los Angeles I will not bother myself to think about another place.
This is a great place to stay. I'd describe it as very clean, quite comfortable and safe - a winning combination. It's in a nice neighborhood within easy reach of food, gas and groceries. Also includes a quiet, restful patio area to enjoy. Mark, our host, was very helpful and accommodating. I will definitely go back whenever I'm in the area and will recommend this place to my friends.
