Ronda is very welcoming and a gracious host. Always a pleasure speaking with her about her many life adventures exploring the world. The room is also really nice; in a nice Victorian house. Location is great too. Just 10 minute bus drive to Downtown.
This is a great part of San Francisco and as Ronda works close to the property, I was greeted by her and given a tour of her lovely, characteristic house. A very lived in and homely feel, with a lot of space in the house. The bathroom is a little small, and there is only one to share, but it was not a problem. There is a wonderful kitchen to cook in, and a sun room to eat your breakfast or relax. If you also need to do your own laundry, there is a machine you can use. All in all, a great experience for me. In a nice part of town (right on the doorstep of Japantown) and you can easily get around via bus, either from Sutter or walking up to Van Ness.
I had lovely conversations and chats with Ronda.
I will not hesitate in staying with Ronda again the next time I visit San Francisco.
Ronda is a great host. She gave me a warm welcome when I met her, and arranged check in well with a friend. Lots of communication and everything was very smooth. The house itself is large with a living room, dining room, kitchen, and sun room. There are 3 rooms all under airbnb. 3 guests all share the 1 bathroom, but I never had any trouble with waits and it worked out well. Everything was clean and well kept. Basically, this a good stay, a bit budget, but workable, and in a good area near Japan Town!
Ronda was a good host, her place is located close to Japantown, a nice area. The room is clean, private, and spacious. The house is modern and the other people living there on a longer term basis are also friendly and welcoming.
Having said all this, I do have to say that the photos on AirBnB are not those of the room or the house. Now don't get me wrong, the room is great!
Ronda was very responsive to questions about the room and booking process. She was helpful in getting settled in even though I arrived later in the evening.
Ronda is one of the kindest and most caring hosts I've had. She was even generous enough to invite me to a BBQ she was hosting. The place was also very clean and well decorated. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Ronda was a great host and her house is wonderful. Very convenient location. Great bus routes nearby and the restaurants, shops, and grocery stores on Fillmore and Pine are awesome. Japantown is right around the corner too. Great place to stay thanks to location and wonderful host.
