This newly remodeled 3-bedroom cabin is the perfect cozy retreat for couples and families. Located in the heart of Government Camp, within walking distance to Ski Bowl, the Timberline Lodge shuttle pick up, and all of the bars and restaurants of downtown Govy. The house is even ski in, meaning you can take the shuttle (or hike!) up to Timberline, then ski down Glade Trail, straight to your front door! Curl up with a book by the fire or soak in the private hot tub at the end of a long ski day.

The space
This listing is for a 3-bedroom cabin in the heart of Government Camp. The space is cozy and warm and has everything you need to feel comfortable during your trip to Mount Hood -- your own private laundry/utility unit, a wood burning stove with firewood provided, a flat screen with AppleTV, high speed WiFi, a private hot tub on the back deck.

*Note that we have a larger hot tub on order but due to COVID delays, it won't arrive until Spring. The hot tub on the back deck currently is still great! But it only fits about 4 people comfortably.*

We are dog-friendly but no other animals are allowed. No cats due to severe owner allergies -- sorry, no exceptions.

Please note that the cabin is located above a separate studio apartment. (Search "Cozy Ski-In Studio with Hot Tub" for the studio listing -- note that the studio is totally separate from this listing.) You will have the whole 3 bedroom cabin and back deck with hot tub to yourself but you will share a driveway with the folks in the studio space below (either us when we're there or other AirBnB guests.) That's the only shared component, though, meaning there are no shared outdoor spaces or venting between the two units.

Other things to note
COVID:
We take Covid-19 seriously in our household and we care about the safety of you, your loved ones, and our cleaning crew. With that in mind, we're following AirBnB's 5-Step Enhanced Cleaning process, which includes airing out the space between booking, having our cleaning crew clean with masks, and disinfect high touch areas with disinfectant after they've been cleaned with soap. We also provide a roll of Clorox Bleach Wipes beneath the kitchen sink in case you would like to wipe down high touch areas again upon entry. We also keep a state of the art air purifier running in the living room.

WIFI AND ENTERTAINMENT:
The cabin is equipped with high speed internet and an AppleTV so that you can stream your favorite movies and shows in your apps (using your personal logins.)

GETTING IN:
Check in is at 4PM and check out is 11AM. The front door is equipped with an electric keypad entry.

PETS/DOGS:
The cabin is dog friendly but not cat friendly (due to allergies.) By booking this property with your dog, you agree that your dog: is potty trained to "go" outside, does not have a chew habit that could result in damage to the property, is not aggressive towards other dogs or humans, and does not exhibit chronic barking or whining behavior. Guests traveling with dogs that don't follow these basic pet rules above will be asked to vacate the property immediately without refund. We'll consider more than one dog but it will require an additional $25/extra pet fee to account for the extra cleaning.

HOT TUB AND OUTDOOR AREAS:
There are two hot tubs on the property -- one is located at the front of the property near the wood stack, this one is for our studio apartment guests; the other hot tub is located on the back deck. This hot tub is for you, our "upstairs/main cabin" guests! The hot tub can comfortably seat 4 people. We're working on getting a larger one for our main cabin guests but, unfortunately, Covid has delayed it until spring. :(

PARKING/DRIVING:
There are two dedicated parking spots in the driveway for the upstairs cabin. Do not park on the street or you'll likely get towed. (It needs to stay open for the snow plows.) You should have snow tires or chains if arriving in the months of November-May as our small residential road and driveway almost always have snowpack/ice on them in the winter.

A WORD ON SNOW:
During the winter months, we expect guests who stay to help shovel the steps and pathways. If it goes too many days of heavy snow without being shoveled it becomes impossible to come back from without hiring out to a professional. If we notice you have let that slip significantly, we will charge accordingly for fixing the problem. (Shoveling really only takes about 10 minutes a day if you stay on top of it.)

Please also note that we pay for a snow plow service for the driveway. They cannot plow with your car in the driveway. So please do us the courtesy of moving your car when you see the plow -- you'll need to pay attention for them, quickly head outside and flag them down, then move your car for one minute while they plow. It doesn't take long but it's important that you flag them as they move very quickly down the street and too many missed plows results in no one being able to use the driveway. (And you having to shovel your way out.)

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, spices and condiments. There is an electric coffee maker but there is no grinder available at this time so bring your beans already ground.

STUDIO:
There is a studio apartment located under the upstairs cabin. Please be respectful of lower unit guests by removing shoes on entry as the footsteps really carry. (Voices and TV do not carry between units.)

SMOKING:
Smoking inside is not allowed indoors and will result in damages.

CHECKING OUT:
Check out is at 11am. We'll give you more info on checkout in the "HOUSE MANUAL".
