LAVENDER COTTAGE is a special place to stay in Wharfedale, an area of outstanding natural beauty, in the Yorkshire Dales. Our cosy, wood beamed cottage can sleep three and is situated in Threshfield village, overlooking the village green.
Lavender Cottage is a quintessential Dales cottage which has been sympathetically and professionally restored offering a very comfortable retreat. It is a charming cottage, full of character with beamed ceilings and an open fire, but also fitted out with freeview TV, DVD player, and WiFi. Changeover days are Fridays and Mondays.
With The Old Hall Inn a two minute walk away and The Hedgerow coffee shop selling vintage gifts and flowers within a five minute walk you don’t have to go far to enjoy delicious food and drink. There is car parking immediately outside the property and secure bike storage to the rear alongside a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
Interaction with guests
I live about five miles from the cottage so am always on hand to help if needed.
Other things to note
The cottage is ideally located for walking, climbing, cycling or simply just enjoying all the Dales has to offer. There are lots of great places to eat including the well known Angel Inn at Hetton (only five miles away) and the Michelin starred Yorke Arms at Ramsgill (about a half hours drive)
Smoking is not allowed in the property.
Dogs are not allowed upstairs
