Condo 89 is a beautiful two bedroom two bath 900 square foot unit located beside the large walk-in beach style pool with swim-up bar and barbecue area, soothing infinity edge waterfall and underwater fibre optic lights. As a frequent AirBNB traveller, I have learned to appreciate details such as double-paned windows and a high speed internet connection that is individual to my unit and not shared with others. You will, too. Only 10 minutes from Tamarindo and Brasilito, 18 minutes from Flamingo, and 20 minutes from Playa Grande and 25 minutes from Playa Avellanas and Playa Negra, The Oaks is your perfect base for surfing, fishing, horseback riding, volcano tours and much more. Its location on the main paved road between Huacas and Villa Real, midway between the Marriott resort at Hacienda Pinilla and the Westin resort at Reserva Conchal, gives you all the options that the Gold Coast of Guanacaste offers, including the restaurants and night life of Tamarindo, five great surf beaches and snorkeling at the clear shell beach of Playa Conchal. The Oaks distinctive entrance of three stylized twisting cement towers inspired by Gaudi represent the three species of oak trees native to Costa Rica, two of which are found on site, along with hummingbirds, butterflies and howler monkeys. An on-site concierge service helps with car rentals, tours and spa services. This second floor unit boasts two private balconies, one overlooking the pool with a table and two chairs for morning tea or evening drinks, and the other with a view of the monkeys just 50 yards away. The full kitchen comes complete with granite counter tops, cedar cabinets, a full size Frigidaire stainless steel refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, and microwave and a ceramic glass top range. The kitchen is fully equipped with glasses, cups, plates, utensils, a coffee maker and a blender.The unit is fully equipped with linens, minimum 300 thread count sheets, anti-allergenic pillow cases, towels and all accessories. A private laundry room off the kitchen has a full size clothes washer and dryer. The unit also comes with a telephone for free national calls. The bright and spacious living room is furnished with a dining area and table and chairs for four persons, a sofa bed that can sleep two additional people, for a maximum occupancy of six persons, and a 50 inch flat panel Panasonic TV and DVD player. CableTica provides over 100 cable channels, including ABC and CBS's Miami affiliates, CNN, Fox, CNBC and ESPN. The unit has free high speed wireless internet. The master bedroom has a queen bed with pillow top mattress, a 42 inch flat panel TV and overhead ceiling spot reading lights. The master bedroom has a private master bath with shower and jacuzzi. The second bedroom comes with two individual beds, ideal for a family, plus a 42 inch flat panel TV. The large second bath has a spacious shower and a private toilet area with a separate door. Both baths have marble countertops. The Oaks is a secure gated community with 24 hour seven day a week controlled entrance and internal security. The unit has an individual entrance alarm and smoke alarm. The sliding glass doors and principal windows are double paned for sound and heat insulation. The unit is fully air conditioned with three quiet Carrier mini-split air conditioners. The common areas have four pools, two with infinity edges and Weber barbecue grills, one semi-olympic pool for serious swimmers and one children's pool. There is ample parking, with one covered parking space for each unit and over 160 additional parking spaces for only 96 units. The parking spaces and internal roads are covered with brick pavers. Over 70% of the trees on-site were preserved during construction, a rarity in Costa Rica. The unit is professionally cleaned before and after your stay. Interim cleanings are offered on request at a reasonable charge. Crib available for infants at no charge. FOR STAYS OF 28 DAYS or more, electricity is metered on check in and check out and the tenant pays for electricity use at approximately $0.21 per kwh, $200 ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT collected at check in and adjusted at check out. For stays less than 28 days, that is, less than monthly rentals, electricity is included.
Guests have access to all three pools and a new nature trail for walking or jogging.
Interaction with Guests
This unit is owned by the developer so that any needed service is quick and efficient. There is an on-site office to handle requests, available 9 to 5 six days per week.
The neighborhood of La Josefina is quiet, yet on a main road with outstanding access to all points. If you are shopping for real estate, this is a great central base to access all areas easily. The Oaks is a safe, gated community that is child friendly.
Public buses stop every hour at the front gate, and inexpensive local taxis can be called from your unit, or with the help of the guards at the front gate.

Ask me, and we can arrange airport shuttles, a rental car, a guide to the best restaurants and meal delivery services, even on-site massages, a professional chef, or child care. Having built The Oaks and lived here since its inception, if you can ask it, we can answer it.
Children welcome. No loud noises after 10 p.m., 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Small pets possible with a pet deposit and adherence to common sense rules, pick up after pets, walk your dog on a leash, and quiet and peaceful dogs. New dog park now open.
We spent a week in unit 86 and it was great. it was in front of the main swimming pool. very quiet place. We arrived one day before we initially rented it and Robert coordinated so we can do check in with no problem. Mauricio and Alejandro were very nice also. Anything we need they were there to assist us.

Our stay at the Oaks was excellent. We had the pleasure of being there for a month. The condos are very well equipped with anything and everything you need. Robert and Alejandro go out of their way to make sure your experience is the best possible. If you stay here for an extended period of time you will want to rent a car which is easy since there are a ton of rental companies around town. It is a little ways outside of Tamarindo, about a 10 minute drive but it adds to the relaxation apsect being away from the hustle and bustle of the town. We would highly recommend staying here.
Me and my husband had a really good time staying at the Oaks. The apartment is just like the pictures. Very modern,clean and includes everything you need with a gorgeous pool just outside. Is a good startpoint to explore Guanacaste. The best way to get around is by car. We defently recommend to stay at the Oaks. Robert and Alejandro gave us the best tips to make our days speacial. If there´s anything you want to know they are the best to ask!
The Oaks is an awesome place to stay at, highly recommend the place. Robert was very helpful and gave my friends and I so many good tidbits about Costa Rica. I am the developer of The Oaks and still have 5 condos available for vacation rentals, all with the best location around our largest of three pools. I found Costa Rica eight years ago and love it, especially the laid back sunny area where we live near Tamarindo. Key word, near. I married Roxana, my Tica wife, a little over a year ago, have two great Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs and in previous lives have been a lawyer and banker. From Richmond, VA, Miami and Southern California, "retired" in Costa Rica.
