This a nice 2 bedroom apartment, with 2 toilets, shared bathroom, washing machine, air condition, kitchen, free WIFI internet connection. I am renting a single room with double bed.
There is parking place in front of the house for your car. Apartment is in a nice and quite neighbourhood surrounded by a garden with beautiful fruit trees.
It is 10minutes walk to main bus station which can connect you to nearby places like old town NIN, Plitvice Lakes, Paklenica Park of Nature and to everywhere you want to go :) 15-20minutes is walk to the old town.
Zadar (ancient Zara), the main city of northern Dalmatia, is one of Croatia’s more underrated destinations. The marble, traffic-free streets follow the old Roman street plan and still contain some Roman ruins and several medieval churches. Massive 16th-century fortifications still shield the city on the landward side, with high walls running along the harbour.
I am a host speaking english very well, love to meet new people and would be at your service to make your stay enjoying experience. See you!
Free parking space in front of house, free wi-fi Internet connection inside apartment, kitchen, usage of washing machine. Space to sit outside in garden.
Interaction with Guests
I am available for any information or will help you in any way i can. I also love to meet interesting people and traveling arround, so will be happy to share stories. When I am out of town working, my mother or someone will always be there at your service.
My neighborhood is a very quiet family place, and the street where i live has very low car traffic. I love being able to live in a house, with a garden with fruits, fresh organic vegetables, and flowers. And in the same time just close to everything i need, big shoping centers 5-10mins walk, 10minutes to main bus station, and 20minutes to old town and city center. So everything is in walking reach, or if you have or rent a bike, since Zadar is a very flat town, you can very easy and fast cycle arround the whole town. Next to the beach. Sea is clean everywhere along so you can jump into water to cool your self anywhere you like.
Smoking is not allowed inside the flat, but there is a balcony and a garden where you can sit and smoke there! Please turn air condition off when you are not in apartment. Bathroom is cleaned daily, but mind that it is shared so you also keep it clean as possible for other guests to use it. Kitchen is also shared so keep it clean!
You will have your own key of your private room so you can come anytime during day or night in your room- mind from (phone number hidden) that you are not loud. Sharing is caring, and a good oportunity to meet interesting people, lots of my guests become friends, cook and socialize together and it is a lovely thing to see- See you soon!
Stayed 3 nights at Vice's house. He was out of town so I was greeted by his mother, who was very nice and showed me around the space. Room was as the pictures show, clean and spacious. There is no shower, just a bathtub, but that wasnt a problem for me. There was a washing machine, but no detergent. When I contacted Vice about it he called and had his sweet grandmother come and collect my load of laundry and she did it for me! Its a bit of a walk to the main tourist sites and bus stops. Overall I would say definitely a good value for the money!
Jesse thank you for review. Detergent is not provided, but if you need something extra just be free to ask us, as Jesse so nicely did and many guests before, we will be happy to assist you if we can. Old city center is 20min walk, central bus station 10mins , you can rent a bike and make it half, Zadar is flat so it is easy to bike anywhere.
His mother friendly welcome home and she was really kind to me
home is a little bit far from old town but it just takes 15 min to walk and also 15min to bus terminal, big market is near home 10min.
quiet and clean but the only thing i am concerning is a little bit cold
Vice's mother was very nice. The apartment is really good, with very nice common areas. The room was ok. You need to walk a little to the center, but the area is quite safe.
We stayed here twice in one trip. Our first night and our last night in Croatia. A little hard to find from the main bus station, but it is 10 min once you know the route and very convenient. It is also an 8 minute walk to a nice grocery store. We arrived late both times and Vice was very understanding. The shower is a handheld with no wall clip which makes it a bit awkward, but all the essentials were there and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the people we shared the apartment with both times. We would stay here again.
Vice was abroad but he made sure his mother had all the information so that, even with a slight language barrier, she could welcome us in the appartment. As we were the only guests we had the entire floor (with spacious living room, balcony, kitchen and bathroom) to ourselves. The appartment is in a quiet street but a little bit far from the center if you don't have a car (with car about 8 minutes).
We did not meet Vice. His grandmother met us. The apartment is quiet nice but really needs a good clean and tidy up of the shared living and kitchen areas and especially needing a clean was the bathroom. It reminded me of a student share house. The bedroom itself was fine and large with a comfortable bed. Fast wifi. This was a last minute booking with ease. We stayed one night.
Allison stayed just one night, and booked a room in apartment which is shared with other guests, rooms and shared spaces are cleaned every day, so yes it is a SHARE house, so mind that cleanlines of shared spaces depends on all of the guests to keep it clean, and clean after themselves.
This house is tidy and relaxed. They are kind and friendly. We had only 1night, but it was good stay in Zadar. Also near the bus station.
