Rosemarie is a wonderful host. She was kind enough to pick up me and my wife from the bus stop so we wouldn't have to carry our luggage up the hill to the home. The little village is very charming and rich with history, and Rosemarie's home is very cozy. She's an amazing host and this is such a unique place to stay. We loved every minute of it.

Our stay in Lavertezzo was amazing. This airbnb is a one of a kind experience that you cant really get any other way. I have never stayed in such a remote village, and it was so cool. The view from the deck is not represented in these photos - it is UNREAL. Such massive mountains. The few small villages on the hill and surrounding area is like going back in time. We ate at an Italian restaurant in the village which was very good and went to this Grotto place Rosemarie recommended with local cheese and wine. Rosemarie is so sweet and was so excited to tell us about the area - I wish i lived there. She even gave us some of her homemade elderberry jam - so sweet. Would recommend to anyone, was cozy and a truly unique experience!

Probably the greatest vacation I've ever taken. It's a little piece of paradise up in the verzasca valley. The cottage is truly a piece of history and it was nice to be in a place that I felt was almost untouched by tourists. Rosemarie was wonderful. A perfect host by any standard.

Our stay at this "cottage," which in reality is more like a fully-equipped home, was like a fairy tale come to life. Learning about the home's origins made history come alive. The views from the two balconies and all the windows were stupendous. Indoors, there are so many curated decorations and special touches to marvel over. Rosemarie used the theme of "love" and "home" in her pillows, rugs, decorations, and color scheme. It really couldn't have been more thoughtfully equipped with everything imaginable - and more - to cook gourmet meals. It was unseasonably cold when we visited at the end of April, but we were very cozy with the fireplace, and space heaters. The cluster of homes in the immediate area, including Rosemarie and Gilberto's homes which are perched over a majestic waterfall, are so picturesque. I was in a constant state of awe, learning about Gilberto's childhood there and his thrice-daily hikes up the mountain. I highly recommend that hike. Rosemarie and her husband Gilberto were married on that hilltop a couple of years ago. Their loving relationship radiates out to add romance to this natural environment. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a getaway. We were really glad to have a car and enough groceries to cook a few meals. This AirBnB will live in my heart forever! Our stay at Rosemarie's cottage was amazing. Very clean and she was very caring and helpful. Close to the river and the bus stop, only thing I would say is if you have a lot of luggage be prepared to haul it up the hill :) Recommended!!! An amazing place for hikers and explorers.

Rosemarie's place was excellent and she is a very gracious and accommodating host. The Verzasca Valley could not be a more beautiful place to visit and these cottages are an amazing place to stay while there.

I enjoy spending time with my husband and family. I'm an outgoing person who loves to make all guests feel at home. I've lived in this area of Switzerland over 20 years and hope to make your visit here truly unforgettable. Medicine is my profession and it has played a role in my lifestyle which includes healthy organic cooking. I enjoy traveling and meeting new friends. I look forward to visiting America, where my brother and his wife live.
