The room has the most panoramic window of the structure and has a private bathroom.
This accommodation in Siena center is a double room with private bathroom, located in an apartment with a shared kitchen and a panoramic view from the windows over Siena' rooftops and main monuments. There is internet wireless for free and LCD tv in the room. The apartment is located at the fifth floor of an ancient building similar to a tower, since is the higher in the nearby.
The structure is completely non-smoking.
If you like, you can ask for breakfast at the reception, which will be served in the breakfast room on the fourth floor. The property does not have a lift, but we would be glad to help you with your luggage, having a small hoist; please advise us at your arrival!
NOTE: Price not includes tourims tax 2,50€ per person per night, maximum six days per month, except children up to 12 years old.
Since the kitchen is shared with other rooms, please be sure to wash everything you used to cook so that also other guests can use it. Polite and kind manners are highly recommended.
No smoking in the entire house.
The accomodations were generally good - everything was very clean and orderly. The breakfast (an extra €6 each) was very good and worth the money! The only thing that wasn't what we were expecting was that it felt like a hotel in almost every way. If you're looking for that, it's a great place. If you're looking for something that involves getting to know your host this wouldn't be the place to do so. Also, our wifi wouldn't work in our room (we had to sit in the common area to get a signal) and our room was above a bar so it was loud until quite late - if you bring earplugs it shouldn't be too much of a problem though.
The place was conveniently located, with easy access to Il Campo and the duomo. Our room had a wonderful view of the cathedral and the duomo. Elisabetta was very nice and introduced us to a lovely restaurant, Pretto, for dinner.
It's only downfall was that our room was on the 5th floor and there was no lift. They do have a hoist, however, which can lift your luggage up and bring it down for you.
I would say there couldn't be any room in old town area that can compete with this one. The location is great and the room is clean and spacious. And the view, the stunning view overlooking the whole town is incredible, esp. When it is sunset. I will definitely be back with my family. Last but not least, thanks Elisa to drive me to train station!
Thank you for sharing with other guests your stay at I Terzi di Siena, we are very happy to hear that you had a pleasant experience with us. We look forward to your next visit to Siena, so you can appreciate the innovations we are preparing!
Wonderful place!!!!!! I can not imagine better acommodation to stay in such beautiful town! Totally recommendable, the view was breathtaking, located in the heart of Siena, the room was simply a dream. The host very welcoming and helpful! We loved this place!
Wonderful large room in the heart of Siena with incredible views. Room was very clean with comfortable bed. We shared a bathroom with one other room but basically had it to ourselves as an ensuite. Shared kitchen facilities were very welcome and it was lovely to meet other travelers. We were also given plenty of useful maps and information on what to see. Overall I would highly recommend this great accommodation and will use again if I get the opportunity.
Great views, central location, reasonably quiet and a useable kitchen. We were surprised at the number of people we were sharing the kitchen with but everyone was very friendly. One problem was the wifi, which was poor in our room and passable in the kitchen. But overall we enjoyed our stay.
Elisabetta's place is simply great. In the very heart of the city, the view from the terrasse is amazing. The accommodation is comfortable (large bed), spotless clean, very quiet for peaceful nights. Really a perfect location to visit the city, a few minutes away from the main square and the duomo.
Elisabetta's husband was very kind and recommanded us some great restaurants. The Carrocio, a family place, was delicious!
Please follow Elisabetta's tips about parking in Sienne because coming by car in this city is very stressful (very very few free parking places).
