These were simple wood cabins, in a simple area (no views, but in the middle of lots of trees) and near a nice walk. There's nothing fancy - just a local pub, and the horse riding which we didn't try. Our experience was that the hosts were very helpful when we asked for information but otherwise left us to ourselves. Took a while to find a really beautiful walk locally - we ended up driving to church stretton, which was great - but if you're looking for something to do, really pretty scenery or something a little fancier this may not be it -if you want a quiet cabin in a clearing that's very simple and cheap this is perfect.
Great spot to escape for a weekend! We stayed in the 6 person Sycamore Lodge, and while it isn't the largest place in the world, it did have everything we needed, including a hot tub which was very relaxing!
Our hosts seamed eager to make our stay comfortable, and were helpful with anything that we asked of them.
Decided to take a day trip into nearby Snowdonia (recommended!), and everything else that we needed was within a short drive.
This is a lovely place in an amazing location. The cabin was perfect for us. Such a quiet spot among the trees. A short walk and you are in a nature reserve with trails and bridle paths. Pamela was great telling us how to get there and welcoming us. I highly recommend these cabins.
