About Chez JJ:
We're a hacker house for traveling entrepreneurs and makers. Here, you can get integrated into the SF Bay Area hacker community! Yay!!
Something someone told me recently:
"I'm really impressed with the people you've brought to your place, how quickly successful you've been. It's kind of incredible. :) ...And kind of more fun to cowork out of than [name of popular SF coworking space redacted]."
IMPORTANT: if you are not an itinerant hacker / entrepreneur / designer, you had better be some kind of amazingly interesting person who still has something useful to contribute to the conversation. Please don't write me if you're just here to see the sights.

This place played a large part in my San Francisco experience being awesome!
Sasha is a great host and captain!
I stayed at ChezJJ for 3 months and never had a problem. It's close to the MUNI station and Bus stop for the 33 so you won't have trouble getting around.
Most people who come through are programmers/entrepreneurs and it's a pretty laid back atmosphere, I only managed to stay for brunch once but it was delicious.
This is a really nice place too meet cool people from all over the world, technology related, entrepreneurs and excentric tourists. Highly recommended if this is your thing!
Great people, gorgeous apartment. Sasha was super friendly and made me feel right at home.
Sasha was a great host, made everything feel cozy.
This fresh new chezjj is a great spot for those wanting a home away from home. beautiful views of Castro and twin peaks, along with a great walk made this spot a treat. My experience will differ hugely from others as I was one of the first three people to stay here, when air mattresses were in rooms and bunk beds had not yet arrived.
The location isn't far from the Castro muni stop, so not bad if you are ok with biking or bus to spots, but I'd say not ideal for people staying a few days in sf and wanting to be centrally located. I met some nice folks and thoroughly enjoyed my time.
