The Space

A cosy, informal 8 bedroomed guest lodge just 8 Km from the Kruger Park, South Africa, on the borders of both Swaziland and Mozambique. Our rooms are all en suite with TV and mini bar, set mainly under thatch around our pool in tropical gardens. We have rooms for singles, couples and families/friends of up to 6 sharing. The more guests sharing a room, the cheaper it becomes, with under 12s half price too! We have a lovely licensed bar and restaurant serving South African and international dishes.

We pride ourselves on the personal attention that we pay to our guests in our small lodge to make sure they get the best form their holidays. We can arrange day trips into the Kruger Park, elephant back and micro light safaris, golf, fishing, quad biking and more, or just advise on self drive itineraries and onward travel and accommodation.

Komatipoort is a small quiet town perfectly positioned for day trips to the Kruger, Swaziland and Mozambique.

Rusty French and Spanish spoken...plus of course English, Zulu and Afrikaans

The price quoted is for single occupancy, with an additional charge for extra guests, but this reduces with numbers, so it is much cheaper to have 6 sharing a room than just 1 or 2! Price quoted excludes meals.

  • This B&B is a little paradise in Komatipoort and close to the Krugerpark. We had a very pleasant stay. Sue was a very kind and helpfull hostess. Their South African kitchen is very good.

  • We stayed two nights at Trees Too Guest Lodge. We had been in contact with Sue before our stay in order to book a sunset drive and a full day game drive. In fact Sue had everything arranged for us, so we didn't have to do anything! At first we tried to fit in even more activities in our schedule, but Sue was absolutely right with all her suggestions and time estimates, which was really helpful for us, so we could enjoy and didn't have to stress...
We had dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed the food very much as well as the service.

Our room and in fact the rest of the lodge was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful too.

Sue and her husband are wonderful hosts and we would definitely recommend a stay at Trees Too!

  • Came in late after a long day driving through Krueger Park to the southern end from where it is only a short drive to Sue's guest house.
Dinner was ready and a wonderful shower with lots of power... the airconditioning was working wonderfully which was a great relief in 35+ degrees Celsius and 95% humidity. It can get even warmer we were told.

A great place to stay also if you want to drive into the park from the south or onto Mozambique. Great food and service in the restaurant.

Lots of information given ahead and last minute which really helped a lot! Sue even let us know we needed special authorization documents for our rental car to cross Swaziland. Glad you helped, Sue !
Had no problems with customs even that procedure seems ridiculous to a European ! The directions were good and easy to follow.
