Hi guys Gaby here: to get a feel how close we are, look at the video http://(website hidden)/watch?v=qVzgLcDjWzY
Please don't be put off by this listing being outside of Manhattan. We are closer to Midtown Manhattan, Times Square, Theater District, Madison Square Garden, Grand Central Empire State Building, Saint Patrick's Cathedral, and Rockefeller Center than staying in other parts of Manhattan (Wall St., Upper East or West Side, above 70s... We are closer than all parts of Brooklyn and definitely way closer than staying in Queens/Bronx).
Newly decorated private apt. in Union City, NJ. Union City is on the other side of the Lincoln Tunnel and therefore very close (15 min. bus ride) to Port Authority/Times Square area.
Private luxurious apt. with two queen size beds, night-stands, open spacious central air and heat, beautiful hardwood floors and exquisite mahogany color to help you relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping or whatever you please. We will welcome you with open arms.
Take a bath or soak in marble soaking tub with a shower head that makes you feel like you bathing in the rain, a great kitchen right out of a James Bond movie. A beautiful large living room where you can sit down to a glass of wine, hear your favorite music, eat a snack. This is what Robert & Gaby your hosts will provide for you. They will greet you as part of your family; if you need them or request them, they will be right there for your assistance. Your privacy and accommodation will be our responsibility and our pleasure.
About the neighborhood:
The neighborhood is quiet and very nice, 100 steps from a family grocery to buy what you need. Walking distance to banks, pharmacy, and 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan (Time Square/Port Authority Bus Terminals). You'll reach Midtown faster from this location than from locations even located in Manhattan.

Great energy and very peaceful! Feel free to message me with any questions!
Gaby and Robert's apartment is clean and comfortable - great beds and pillows! Didn't cook but the fridge was great for keeping milk, coffee, yogurt, fruit - oh, and beer. It is definitely a short bus ride to NYC, and to a convenient spot - the Port Authority Bus Terminal. If you are staying in NYC until the wee hours, the buses are much less frequent and it seems a long walk in the dark to Gaby's from the bus stop at 2:00 a.m. Not sure I would do that walk if I was traveling alone.
Altogether a good stay in nice quarters.
Great apartment - Manhattan is only a short bus trip away!
Gaby and Robert's place was great! Looks just like it does in the photos. Nice, cozy place to come home to after a day of sight seeing in NYC. We had no problems while staying here and Gaby was available when I called to ask a few questions the day of arrival. She was very good about giving instructions on how to get to their place and also left us with a few suggestions of how to travel to NYC, where to eat in the area, etc. It didn't take us long to get into the city (about 10-15min), EXCEPT during rush hour on Friday night. It took us about three times as long. Overall, great experience! I'd stay here again.
Upon arrival in NY, Gaby explained she had to make changes to our housing arrangements, due to the apt having a leak and the need to fix it immediately. She explained she had a better arrangement for us, but I did not believe it. She and Robert let us use her 3 bdr house, which fit us perfectly. Since I snore like a lion, but have my own bdr for myself, my three children never complained. Gaby was also very helpful giving us advice on the urban transportation to a d from NY. HER HOUSE was perfectly located (25-30 mins max), from Times Square. Our trip to NY was a once in a life time experience, and Gaby's place had a lot to do with it. I would definitely recomend it. Thanks Gaby a d Robert!
Gaby is very kind and warm; she was available and willing to help. A couple things about the apartment: there was a leak on the roof and an ugly bucket in the middle of the floor. The bathroom would be 10 times more functional if there were hooks or shelving on the walls for personal belongings. And the window sill was just awful, it looks like its about to detach from the wall; (it may not be a big deal fro some, but its not appealing to look at) Also, We were a little weirded out that someone came into the apartment while we were gone to open up the sofa bed and put sheets on (to sleep). Although it seems courteous, we didn't feel comfortable with the idea of someone having access to our things. Additionally, the beautiful dining room set in the photos is not part of the apartment, so don't expect to use that. Overall an okay experience for what we came for, but minor fixes would earn this place to 5 stars.
I was visiting New York for two days and the appartment was perfect for me. Great location. Very close to Manhattan. Communicating and dealing with Gaby was very smooth and pleasant. I had a great time.
Saludos a Gaby y a Robert
This apartment is a great find. Plenty of room for all 4 of us, and very clean. Would definitely stay here again. Research ways to get in to NYC from here, the taxi is quite pricey!
Traveled for extended stay in the city for a father daughter trip to remember. the hosts were absolutely terrific-
They were very flexible and work with us when we arrived right on time. the photos are exactly as described and very comfortable. Gabby even helped us with a small refund because I did not need a parking permit which was not required but she made sure it happened I have respect for that.
Everything was perfect! Gaby and Roberts place are really nice. They helped us with finding taxi, buses and something else...
Would love to come back soon :)
