Daan's apartment is in the heart of Amsterdam and it's absolutely gorgeous. Very comfy, homey, we loved staying there and felt we really got the full A'Dam experience. Wonderful shopping, cute cafes, bars, restaurants all within walkable distance. Picturesque scenery all around. Everything in the apartment was set perfectly, stylish & chic, amazing bathroom and cozy nook-like bedrooms. Loved the stereo system, super sweet touch. Communication with Daan was excellent, even though we didn't have a chance to meet in person. Highly recommend this stunning flat, it's really a gem.
We had a great weekend in this house! Perfect location and such a charming house. Everything is closeby; bakery, supermarket, cafés and shopping
We had a great stay! The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The interior design was clean and uncluttered. The location was perfect for us.
Great stay, the flat was amazing and Daan couldn't have been more helpful! We'll be back soon, can't recommend it enough!
This apartment sums up how stylish Amsterdam is! It was so nice and clean and in the nicest area of Amsterdam, away from any touristy area. We enjoyed staying in this apartment tremendously- just sorry we couldn't meet Daan!
The apartment is great. Looks as shown on the pictures, the description is accurate. Checking in and out as well as the entire stay ware fine. The place is very clean, has all the equipment you may need. Location is perfect, 10 min pleasant walk to either the center or the night clubs area, yet in a quiet neighborhood. Only concern were the stairs- you have to go up and down all the time but that's the same all over old Amsterdam. With that in mind I would not recommend to families with small kids. Besides that- a great place to stay.
We had a fantastic stay at Daan's property, from booking, to check in and then check out, the entire process was effortless very professional. When we first inquired about availability, Daan was incredibly prompt in getting back in touch and answering any questions we may have had. Payment was simple and straightforward and Daan ensured he was in regular contact in the lead up to our stay to ensure we were across everything.
The apartment itself was amazing in terms of design, set across three floors it had more than enough room for the three of us and importantly it allowed us all to be in the house but not in each others faces. Location wise, there are plenty of great boutiques, cafes and restaurants nearby so there's never a shortage of places to visit.. Its also very conveniently wedged between the 'city centre' and the museum district.
All in all it was a wonderful stay, I cant offer enough praise.
I stayed at Daan's place and I was not disappointed. It is a clean apartment with a great location. You can mingle with the locals or walk 5 minutes to the more touristy areas. I would not hesitate to stay there again!
We had a fantastic stay in Daan's apartment. The place itself is amazing; the photos don't do it justice. Checking in and out was made super smooth thanks to Daan and his shop assistant who were extremely helpful. It is also perfectly placed to allow you to get to everywhere you'd want to see, and when you're finished wandering around there are lots of lovely cafes, bars and eateries in the immediate area. Would recommend it to any couple, family or group of friends.
Daan was an excellent and helpful host, and his little house is a great place to stay. We were two mothers and daughters, and felt nestled in the middle of an enchanted chocolate box Amersterdam - bakery, cheese shop, cafes and boutiques each house more beautiful than the last. Very convenient walking to all the major tourist sites. The house was small but perfectly formed. Nice bedrooms and common spaces, clean and modern, but we could never figure out the heating!
