Have a great stay!
Beautiful place. Very comfortable beds. We had a wonderful stay! Thank you Daan for sharing your beautiful home with us.
We stayed in Daan's place for the weekend. Fantastic apartment over 3 floors in a great area. Very good location, close to the centre. Some lovely boutique shops around too.
Apartment was exactly as described. The instruction booklet is spot-on and has everything you need to know about the apartment. Wifi, heating, hot water etc all works perfectly well. The Moku shop staff are very welcoming and friendly, pick-up and drop-off of keys couldn't be easier. Will definitely be booking again next time I'm in Amsterdam.
A beautiful apartment in a perfect location. Quiet but with shops and bars nearby. Daan was a great host, we had all the information we needed for a wonderful stay in Amsterdam. Highly recommended!
Daan's place is fantastic - better than I thought it would be! Great location, clean, plenty of space, easy to check in and out, bigger than I thought it would be! Dan is very responsive and helped with any questions we had. I hope to go back soon!'
I had a very enjoyable 2 week stay at Runstraat 2. Daan was available whenever I did not know how to operate the cookong stove or when I needed supplies for the dishwasher. The apartment is tidy, comfortable and rather quiet bearing in mind its exellent tourist location ( I was staying their in March).
Visitors should notice that the price covers only 2 guests, i.e. extra guests must pay extra. And do not underestimate the remark that the steps are not suitable for young children and adults with moving difficulties. The staircases are steep.
This is the perfect location if you're looking to stay in the heart of Amsterdam. Although we didn't meet Daan in person, he was very communicative and made it easy for us to check in and check out.
The apartment is clean with plenty of space and in a prime location in walking distance to so many parts of the city. Even the street itself was so charming. Do yourself a favor and experience this city like a local!
An absolutely lovely apartment in the most beautiful area of Amsterdam. A great place to stay and I would be delighted to stay here again. Thanks to Daan who was very helpful and hospitable.
I am a well travelled Dutch national brought up in England. I design, restore and build wooden speedboats, and run a t-shirt prints shop called 'Moku' on the ground level of the house.
I have lived in the house for 15 years and know the area, neighbours and shopkeepers well. A large part of the finish and detailing on the interior I have carried out myself.
