Have a great stay!
We loved Daan's place! it's in the best place you can possibly think while visiting Amsterdam, right in the middle of everything and at a walking distance of all the main attractions. We really found it very convenient for us all, being a group of 5. The house is absolutely clean and has all the things you can need for a short period of days, it was all perfect! Plus, the beds are comfortable and the house arrangement being the kitchen in the first floor, the living in the second and the rooms upstairs made it very special to find a place for each of the family when needed...
The neighborhood is the best one. A morning stroll was so nice, with all the little stores around, but a night walk to feel the vibe of the city and see the lights on the canal bridges is very special. And its right there! Also, a 5 minutes walk takes you to a tram stop, and from there to the station or the museum's place. All very easy, nice and perfect. We strongly recommend Daan's place!
Everything was perfect. The location is very good. Centered and quiet in a lovely street. Close to food, shopping, and everything.... Very cool and beautiful house. You will find everything you need there.... And like us, you will just hope to come back in Amsterdam in the same place. we did not met Daan but he took care of us and did his best for us to have a perfect stay. We will come back. Thank you Daan
We didn't get the chance to meet Daan during our stay, but we managed our way around with his complete description of how to get to the house etc.
The location of the house is very central, we did not take any transportation at all during our visit, cause everything is within walking distance.
The house was very lovely, modern and minimalist. Eventhough the price was above our initial budget, but glad we chose it.
Would definitely recommend to stay here.
My friends and I stayed for 4 days and enjoyed our time in this lovely apartment! Vibrant neighborhood full of shops and bars. Location couldn't be any better! Supermarket just a few minutes away. The apartment is well-equipped and has pretty much all you need. Temperature inside the apartment is a bit chilly, so an extra pair of sock or slippers were needed.
First of all, the staying at the house was really great. We met Daan on the first moment we arrived to the area.
The house looked even better than it was in the description. The Location is great, as you probably won't need any public transportation, in order to visit most of the main sightseeings. Supermarkets, post office, restaurants and other shops are mostly very close.
I would definitely recommend to stay at this place.
Had great trip to Amsterdam. Daan was very helpful and responsive to any request we had. Beautiful apartment, perfectly located for easy access to main attractions. Walking distance to most places. Strongly recommended
I am a well travelled Dutch national brought up in England. I design, restore and build wooden speedboats, and run a t-shirt prints shop called 'Moku' on the ground level of the house.
I have lived in the house for 15 years and know the area, neighbours and shopkeepers well. A large part of the finish and detailing on the interior I have carried out myself.
