Neighbourhood… A village in the city. House… An oasis in the village in the city. Service… A combination of old fashioned hospitality mixed with efficient modern technology. Warning do not stay too many days you may not leave. Highly recommended
Warm and comfortable - electric blankets were a treat. Location was convenient to Sydney with plenty of restaurants and a fresh market close by.
We did not met Lindy but were in contact prior to our arrival and received all the information we need. The house is very original in a nice and quite convenient area of Sydney.
I stayed here with my husband and another friend. It was very spacious for the three of us and offered a lot of areas to hang out despite the unusual layout. The location is fantastic with many great cafes nearby and it is still walking distance to the city and other other Sydney attractions. Sydney was cold when we visited but there were plenty of heaters around to keep us warm. We really enjoyed our stay here and Lindy was fantastic in supplying all the information we needed before we arrived.
Staying at Lindy's home in Surry Hills was a wonderful experience. House was very Quirky, all the comforts of home. Lindy was easy to contact and very welcoming. House is in the best location for Surry Hills, central for Pubs, restaurants, public transport, taxi's etc. Approx $15-$18 in a taxi to CBD. A wonderful time was had by all.
Lindy was there to greet us and was very helpful and welcoming. Everything was clearly labeled and there was a folder of information relating to the house and surrounding area. The photos could not do this beautiful quirky house justice! Stunning area- right in town, but we felt tucked away and had lots of privacy. Living area is spectacular- kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need. Lindy had also been kind enough to supply us with milk, juice and some light snacks. There was plenty of bedding, towels and soap provided. What an amazing way to stay on holidays!
Lindy was a great host! Welcoming us on arrival with a phone call to make sure we settled in okay and providing a lovely home for our stay with everything at our finger tips. The house has lots of interesting spaces to experience and felt calm and relaxing with all the greenery! We followed Lindy's tip and wandered around the corner to Maloneys for yummy treats. We enjoyed a meal at Bessa in Crown Street and a lovely pizza bistro around the corner. We enjoyed our stay!
