The space
This is an exceptional venue that is breath-taking in its beauty. With 7000 square feet this home is perfect for groups or families of up to 14 seeking a relaxed retreat in a quiet country setting. Minutes from Santa Fe’s downtown plaza and galleries of Canyon road, this property sits on three acres in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood just off the Veterans Memorial Highway Southwest of the Plaza in Santa Fe which also makes it convenient to the Santa Fe Opera, south-side shopping and the Santa Fe Airport.

There are 5 bedrooms:

1.The Master suite with a queen bed and a twin daybed (sleeps 3)

2.The Asian room with a queen bed (sleeps 2)

3.The Mountain room with a queen bed (sleeps 2)

4.The Court-yard suite with its own full kitchen is one huge room with a king bed and a twin daybed (sleeps 3)

5.The Bunk room has 2 twin beds and queen pull down Murphy bed (4 kids or adventuresome adults)

The communal spaces are spacious and include a large living room with a kiva style fireplace and television, a formal dining room with seating for 12, a well equipped kitchen with Viking range, warming oven, wine fridge and a granite island with additional seating.

Outdoor spaces include a lovely 50 foot lap pool recently renovated with electric cover . Covered porch with dining and a large arbor covered table which seats 14-perfect for dining al fresco. It even has a sauna and hot tub with soothing massage jets.

Owners live on the property in the smaller of the two houses and are available to answer any questions, give recommendations on hiking,restaurants etc. There is space between the houses and we like to provide complete privacy to our guests.

We request that our guests respect the quiet nature of this neighborhood which is mostly comprised of retired folks who love the relaxed country feel of this community. Therefore we absolutely cannot accommodate weddings or other potentially loud parties.

We want to welcome all those who will truly appreciate this serene and beautiful home.This is an exceptional venue that is breath-taking in its beauty. Caretakers/managers live on site in a guest cottage.

Neighborhood highlights

The neighborhood is peaceful, it is nestled in a desert country setting. It’s the perfect place for a sunset stroll or a morning jog. There is access to arroyo trails in which your group can rock hound and walk for miles.
Houses in the neighborhood sit on a minimum of two and a half acres. Some of our neighbors have horses.
From the pool area one enjoys sweeping views across the Ortiz mountains to to the Sandia Mountain range in Albuquerque 50 miles away!

Rich in history with UNESCO heritage sites surrounding it, Santa Fe sits in the high desert at the feet of the Rocky Mountains. We have been sharing Retreat Santa Fe since 2014.
