(Just FYI...we get a lot of questions similar to "are such and such dates available?" We always keep our calendar up to date, so if particular dates show as available, they are available, and of course vice-versa. But please, if you have other questions, ask away!).
Our home is on approximately 2 acres in Eldorado, 10 minutes from Santa Fe. Our attached, air-conditioned casita has it's own private entrance and plenty of off-street, safe parking, and even room to park a small-to-medium-sized RV.
We have bike/walking paths that pass right in front of the house, and wilderness hiking and biking trails are 5 minutes away.
The casita has a queen bed, bath with shower, kitchenette with microwave, hot plate, sink, fridge and Keurig coffeemaker (free coffee included), plus it's own clothes washer and dryer, air conditioning, and free wifi and cable TV.
We have lived in Santa Fe and Albuquerque for over 20 years and can recommend restaurants, things to do, places to go, etc.
We have check-in time listed as 3pm, but with just a bit of advance notice, we can usually accommodate an early check-in.
Remember that after a reservation is made, Airbnb sends an email with much more info...where to park...wifi password...how to let yourself in, etc, so don't forget to look for that.
Finally, our listing says the casita can accommodate 2 people, but a 3rd can work as well IF they are small enough to sleep on the love seat (small child). There is also some floor space for an airbed, etc.

We loved the casita; everything was clean and the amenities (small kitchen, fridge, washer, etc) were in great shape. The neighborhood, just north of of Santa Fe was quiet and we had no trouble finding it.
Monica, oops...we are actually SOUTH of Santa Fe. But, it IS a widely held conception that we are north. Sometimes I jokingly say "we are 6 miles south of Santa Fe on I-25 north". The reason for this is because I-25 makes a big turn just to the east of Santa Fe to go around the Sangre De Cristo mountains and actually reverses direction for a few miles, so that those who are traveling south to southern destinations on I-25 (like you were), are actually heading north for a few miles, and those who are traveling north to northern destinations, are actually heading south for a few miles. I just wanna make sure everyone understands that after they read your review. Anyway, so glad you enjoyed your stay. Come back any time! - Bill
We had a great stay at Bill and Lisa's casita. We reserved our room well in advance seeing how popular this place was. We were a little surprised by how far south it was from the main plaza area but found it a positive by the end. The town of Eldorado is only 15-20 minutes away from the plaza. Eldorado also offers a great tap room of the local Santa Fe Brewing Company. We watched the US vs Germany World Cup match here, had a great time, and got great local advice of where to go and where to eat.
The casita itself is perfect for two people. It has every amenity you could need and a beautiful view of the stars at night from your private patio. There is also a great trail along rail tracks that sends you out to the wilderness that is easy to run on.
This place delivered on all that is advertised. It is in a lovely, quiet area, near to the city center. We spent a lot of time enjoying the private patio and appreciated having our own laundry. A great, clean space with everything you need!
Casita was exactly as described, very comfortably appointed, quiet and private. Having access to a washing machine and dryer was a big help. There have been dozens of other positive reviews...so, ditto what everyone else said.
An incredible deal. The casita is just off the house, and it's like having your own place to yourself. In a great neighborhood of Santa Fe, itself a gorgeous city to explore. Highly recommended.
Bill and Lisa's casita was our favorite Air BnB yet. It had everything we needed and we were assured that if something was missing that it could be provided. We had been on the road for over a week so having access to a W/D was so appreciated. And being able to cook our own food after eating out for so long was quite nice too. The views from the casita, and the neighborhood in general, were amazing. It was a perfect stay.
Lisa and Bill's Casitas is perfect. I come to Santa Fe often and wanted to try it out for just one night on this trip. It is a 10 on a 10 scale.
We had a lovely stay in Bill and Lisa's casita! Due to our arrival time, a long hike, late dinner and early departure the next morning, we never actually got to meet them, but we kept in touch via text message so felt welcomed and looked after! I want to come back and spend more time next trip!
Bill and Lisa's casita is a very attractive place to stay in the El Dorado community, about 15 minutes from Santa Fe. Although there are other houses around, the casita feels completely private -- I stayed there for eight days and felt completely comfortable the whole time. There are stores, a post office, a library and a gym in El Dorado. And coyotes in the open spaces -- I saw a pair when I went for a walk at dusk. A great combination of convenience and nature in this location.
What we needed after two weeks on the road on our Route 66 road trip was a relaxing and comfortable place to chill out. The property was just that. Though it is only a few minutes from downtown Santa Fe it was a quiet haven in which we could relax. Highly recommended.
