Interaction with Guests
I meet and greet. If they want information, they are welcome to send me an e-mail or even talk to me.
Other than that, they have their privacy.
West Portal is a great neighborhood.
There are lots of restaurants, nail salons, a movie theatre, banks and easy access to transit for dowtown.
From West Portal, it is easy access to downtown and Fisherman's Wharf and most of the tourist areas. From 19th Avenue (which is a 3 block walk) easy access to #28 bus which takes you to Golden Gate Park and the Golden Gate Bridge.
I expect my guests to respect my property.
I will not tolerate sneaking in extra guests without notification and payment.
No animals allowed.
No smoking in house but can smoke in garden area.
Lovely place. Perfect for our stay in West Portal. Close to Muni and the Sheila and her husband were awesome. Comfy accommodations with all of the amenities. Would have loved to say longer.
Sheila war sehr hilfreich und hat uns viele wertvolle Tipps gegeben. Die Wohnung war nett eingerichtet und ruhig, die Nachbarschaft ebenso.
Sheila met us at the door and was extremely friendly and personable. The unit is as described and pictured and it was very well stocked with food in the frig and on the counter for us. Bed and couch were comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and close to shops and scenic attractions (tiled steps at 16th and Moraga.)
Such a pleasure to meet Sheila she was very helpful & made sure we saw the best parts of San Francisco before our trip was over. The house was very private & comfortable. Thank you Sheila
Sheila personally welcomed us when we arrived. She even prepared a map highlighted with areas she thought would interest us, some brochures of those places, as well as a list of all nearby areas for everyday needs. She also stocked the refrigerator with some basic necessities. She was very thoughtful and friendly.
The area is in a quiet neighborhood but it is near a church (for Catholics) and is walking distance to Taraval and West Portal streets where there are restaurants, supermarkets, and the Muni stations. I felt very secure and safe.
I am very happy with my stay and would gladly go back here.
This was our first airbnb experience and it was an unqualified success. Space was better than I imagined. Spacious, clean, fun. Sheila met us on arrival and gave us the lay of the land. Neighborhood was nice, safe, and we could walk wherever we needed. Muni was a 5 minute walk away. We were welcomed with a few breakfast type items....juice, milk, cereal. Huge master bedroom. Quirky Bathroom situation but was private and added to the charm. Beyond all that, being unfamiliar with San Francisco, it was great to be in the middle of a real neighborhood....barely a franchise to be found. I'd encourage anyone to stay with Sheila.
