This apartment is centrally located in the town (a short walk from everything) and makes a great base for exploring the North. It's spacious, clean and well equipped, and Andreas provided lots of helpful tips for activities. We had a great few days and would definitely come back. Highly recommended.
Everything was as described, cozy, clean and quiet.
Excellent accommodation in the quiet old town of Akureyri with the center within walking distance.
I highly recommend this place
Andreas is a fantastic host and everything with the description of the house is accurate! Andreas sent very quick replies all throughout the booking process. When we arrived we were met by one of Andreas's employees who introduced us to the house and its facilities. We had some problems operating the hot tub but when we contacted Andreas about it, he sent someone to fix the problem in an hour! Initially we had planned to stay for two nights but due to serious road blocks in nothern Iceland, we had to stay in Akureyri. We contacted Andreas again and he was able to organise us another night at the house. He also came to meet with us that time personally. I have nothing but praises to give for the hospitality and level of service we received during our stay.
Andreas was a great host and knowledgable tour guide! The apartment was very comfortable, and he was extremely responsive to us; he even brought a fishing pole over for us to use! I highly recommend taking a tour with him (we went to Myvatn).
We had a great stay at Andreas' lovely apartment in Akureyri. The apartment was just as advertised; modern, clean and ideally located in the centre of town but off main roads so nice and quiet.
Andreas was a perfect host, he popped over when we first arrived to say hi and check if everything was in order. We also booked a dog sledge ride with Andreas and his awesome huskies, this was a great experience made all the more fun by having Andreas as our guide.
If you’re in Akureyri, I would very highly recommend this place and Andreas!
