Just off Hwy 93 and 25 min. to Lost Trail Skiing, our newly renovated cabin offers a cozy place to snuggle up after a day on the slopes. It's on a creek just steps from the back door. Enjoy our cute goats, chicks, and spa next door. Features: Brand new hybrid mattress/Giza Dream Sheets! NOTE! Some asthetic details are still being completed but we promise a comfortable bed for a great night's sleep and NO CLEANING FEE!!

The space
Not your "Plain Jane sixties cabin", our tiny, log cabin with a rustic vibe has a loft (not as yet ready for use) as well as some fun, rustic design elements. It is furnished with a brand new hybrid memory foam mattress and 100% Egyptian (GiZA) sheets and we've replaced mom's frumpy bedspread with covers soft and cozy to make you feel pampered. Our mini kitchen includes a roomy frig, microwave, sink, electric skillet, toaster and any other small appliance you need. such as instant Pot. We live next door. Just ask ahead of time and we'll make it available. You can grill on our back deck next door this winter or in warmer months we'll supply your own grill.

The creek bank is absolutely gorgeous and will be a fantastic place to ponder life's mysteries in spring through fall. In winter it is frozen but never runs dry.

Our ¨ BitterSweet Cabin¨ is located on a crystal clear creek just steps from some of the best fishing on the Bitterroot and just seventeen miles from Lost Trail Powder Mountain Ski Resort and Chief Joseph Cross Country Ski Trail System. Great hikes abound around the area. Just .4 mi from HWY 93 we are thirteen miles from Darby.

Our property is bordered on the Bitterroot Forest and sustained a forest fire in 2000. The near by mountains still bear the scars from that fire but the views to the southwest and northeast show two different mountain ranges.

I am retired from public service work. I love my home and creating a warm and welcoming environment. This includes baking and sharing homemade bread and pastries and serving up creative breakfasts. I am a sports enthusiast. I enjoy cross-country skiing and ATVing. Phil, my husband, is also retired from public service work, he is a world traveler. He enjoys fly fishing, gardening, grilling and caring for his small herd of goats which, by the way, are most entertaining. A former two-sport college athlete, he loves to talk sports. Together we enjoy exploring the woodlands on our ATVs. We are both quite busy these days trying to establish some added landscaping, a bridge across the creek and a new barn. We love people and making new friends. Our faith is central to who we are and we hope it shows through in how we extend a welcome to guests.
