This modern third floor one bedroom apartment is North facing with fantastic light with large balcony with terrific views over St Kilda.

Relax in style 50 meters from the Acland Street main shopping strip and 300 meters from St Kilda beach.

A fully equipped open plan kitchen features new appliances and overlooks the dining and lounge.

Gorgeously furnished, this area is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your homemade espresso coffee.

TV with Foxtel is included (basic package is provided and upgrades are available) along with DVD player, and a compact stereo system.

The bedroom boasts premier linen, a super comfortable bed plus a deluxe ensuite.

Extra bedding is available on request.

Other apartment amenities include: European Laundry, and private front entrance.

'This apartment does not come with parking. However,there is a security car park approx. 200m from the building. Note, this car park is closed from midnight to 6am each day.


St Kilda, with a population of 16,122, is located 6km south from Melbourne's (website hidden) Kilda was named after a ship, the ‘Lady of St Kilda’, which moored at the main beach for much of 1841.

During the Edwardian and Victorian eras, St Kilda became a favoured suburb of Melbourne's elite, and many palatial mansions were constructed along its hills and waterfront.

Post WWII, St Kilda became Melbourne's red-light district.

In recent years, St Kilda has experienced gentrification.

Now St Kilda is one of Melbourne’s premier and most expensive (website hidden) Kilda is home to many of Melbourne's famous visitor attractions including Luna Park, the Esplanade Hotel, Acland Street and Fitzroy Street.

    Had a great time on our trip over from Perth. The apartments location was fantastic for us and the beds were, well, what can I say.... VERY VERY comfortable!!! Everything in St Kilda at your doorstep here... food, shops, celebrities! I am hoping the opportunity arises again for us to come back.

  • Very easy process, quick response, the apartment was as per the details on the website. Very Clean and new, good quality linen and bedding, towels etc. Easy booking in with keys keysafe in mail box. Great security parking underneath and lift access.. Good experience overall, would stay there again.

  • This is my first time to drive from Sydney to Melbourne together with 4 other family members. My girlfriend and I both really satisfied that the apartment provided us a warm/secure stay. I enjoyed the walk along the park to the city. Definitely recommend this place for other. Thanks Nicki ~

  • Mixed feelings about this rental. The apartment was great, exactly as described, clean and appealing. However, the host (Nicki) is not the usual indvidual person you meet when renting at airbnb but a front for a corporation(Espresso Apartments) which owns many such units. When I emailed to inform of our arrival time I got a generic email about early check-in (which I did not request or needed).
    I never received instructions on how to get the keys (left in the letterbox in a coded box), I had to call to get instructions.
    The only real person I saw on site was the local houskeeper who was helpful. But nothing like a real host whom you can ask questions about the area.
    After you book you get a somewhat harshly worded notice that parties are stricty not allowed in this unit, so you really can't use the nice balcony for anything else than by yourself or whispering to anybody else.
    The locked underground garage was great. However, there is a charge of AUD 8 per day to use the WiFi and the check-out time is 10am, a bit early.
    Would I come back? Maybe..... but I would try to look for alternatives first.

  • Overall, a great experience and I would recommend renting from Espresso Apartments again.

    At first there was a bit of an issue because the apartment I rented, the one in the photos, the one whose address I was sent (Riley Stree) was not the apartment I was provided by the company. I showed up at the Riley Street apartment on the day of my arrival and another renter answered the door and told us that they had just moved in that morning. So I checked the email correspondence (4-5 emails) and it turns out that one of the emails that I had received had a different address. So we went to that new address, got those keys and moved in. The apartment was similarly furnished, very clean, great amenities and had a good location so we were happy with the result.

    To be fair, I never contacted Espresso Apartments to complain or raise an issue because I'm the type of guy who wouldn't return a steak if I ordered it rare and it came out of the kitchen well done. At that point it wouldn't have mattered anyway because there were already renters in the Riley Street Apartment and we were already moved into the Liverpool Street apartment. I'm sure if I informed Espresso Apartments of the mixup at the time they would have taken the necessary steps.

    Mixup aside, the apartment was great and we throughly enjoyed our stay there. It was also a great deal monetarily so there's another feather in the cap. I would just recommend locking down the correct apartment and making sure the one in the photographs is the one you will be staying in.
