We are in Inman Square which is near Harvard and MIT with plenty of public transportation. Walking distance to more than 26 restaurants. 1880 working class house, freshly painted rooms and refinished hardwood floors. Large deck. Washer, dryer, full bath, microwave, stove. It is a small apartment suitable for 2 people, although it can accommodate 3 people. Full kitchen, bath and laundry.
There is one bed in the small bedroom and one sofa bed (IKEA pull out) in the living room immediately outside the bedroom. Both beds are "full" mattresses 54" x 78" (137cm x 198cm).
There are lots of good, international restaurants (Indian, Chinese, Korean-Thai, Mexican, Portuguese, Brazilian, Turkish, Southern, seafood, bars and grills, pubs and shops.
Two grocery stores 10 minutes walk including Whole Foods.
We are next to a city truck yard with occasional noise and consistently trucks work from 6:45-9 am.
This is a quiet street most of the day and night in a fun, urban neighborhood with Brazilian, Portuguese, and Italian festivals.

Lovely place! The deck is gorgeous. Easy check-in/check-out.
Awesome place. Super easy and they were very nice and helpful.
Chris and Sarah were welcoming, responsive to any questions or requests, and thoughtful. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped with dishes, utensils, a microwave, refrigerator, cookware, dish soap, washer/dryer, and wifi. They provided coffee for the coffee maker, as well as milk, and tea--very nice touches. Bathroom was clean, beds (in bedroom and pull-out sofa) were comfortable, there's plenty of lighting, and ceiling fans and AC units kept the place cool in summer heat. We weren't disturbed by truck noise from the adjacent city lot. Good location with many restaurants, etc close by. 15 min walk to T.
I would definitely recommend this apartment because it is in a great family friendly neighborhood and the hosts will take great care of you. Chris and Sarah provided a beautiful, neat, and comfortable space near Inman square. Just as the description mentioned, it had a well lit kitchen, nice patio, all the listed amenities (wifi, tv, etc.), and more than enough room for 2-3 people. The apartment was in a quiet neighborhood with a lot of restaurant options and relatively close proximity to the universities in Cambridge. The hosts were very accessible and clear about their Airbnb guidelines which was really helpful because this was my first time using Airbnb.
Our stay was delightful. The apartment is perfect for two people. Chris and Sarah are the consummate gracious hosts and provide everything one could possibly need...delicious coffee, teas, organic milk....comfortable quality linens, washer, dryer, and ironing needs, just to name a few of the perks. Thanks for a wonderful pleasant stay.
A great place and wonderful hosts, friendly and very helpful, we had an enjoyable stay at Sarah and Chris's.
It was clean and well provided with towels, linen and basic necessities
For us traveling every day with an older family member and without a car, there was a regular bus service nearby to the station and the local area Inman Square had many eateries and shops.
Great location. Comfortable apartment with outdoor space. Would absolutely stay here again when I'm in the area. Thank you for hosting me and my friends.
Sarah and Chris are very friendly hosts. We both really liked this clean, light and nicely furnished place with a deck, which we always used for breakfast! The place is very quiet at a dead end road, only one block from Inman Square with a lot of very good restaurants, a coffee house, 2 music/jazz clubs and several bars. It is about 10 min to the T (red line Central Square) with a very good whole food market on the way! We had a very nice stay, and highly recommend it.
We loved this place! So charming and clean, and at the start of summer weather we enjoyed a dinner with my daughter's college friends on the deck. The futon bed was surprisingly comfortable, and made me wonder why I spent so much money on a fancy mattress at home! The kitchen and washer/dryer is terrific for staying a week. There is a working yard for landscape refuse next to the house, but they made noise for only an hour in the morning during the weekdays. To balance that out the trucks do not use the street the house is on, and this is a dead end street which was very quiet at all times. So we felt it was overall a terrific value, a relaxing stay, and I would highly recommend it.
Sarah and Chris were great hosts. They were easy to communicate with and were very helpful in arranging parking before our stay. The place was a perfect retreat after long days of sight-seeing. The bed and the pull-out bed were both comfortable, and the outdoor space was perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning! If you're looking to stay during the week, just be aware of the noise from the truck lot next door. It wasn't bothersome for us but for others it might be! Would definitely recommend.
