  • We communicated online with Patrick prior to our stay, during and afterward, but it was his father, Arthur, who greeted us upon our arrival. He showed us around the apartment and it surpassed our expectations.

The Sargents attention to detail is superb. Not only was the apple crumb cake delicious, but the on-hand staples such as coffee, milk and olive oil along with the brochures, maps, and tourist information made our visit effortless and carefree.

We'll definitely return to this great Salem apartment - hopefully for longer than one week! :)

  • Patrick (email hidden)e apartment was clean and there was even a few goodies provided to start our stay. Patrick was promt throughout the reservation process with any questions. Keys were mailed to me in a timely manor. Apartment was a short walk from downtown. I would recommend this location and will most likely be staying again.

  • We've had a great time in Salem. The house is lovely and very cozy, clean and well equipped, much better than in pictures. The area is very quiet and well situated for visiting the coast and the city of Boston. We want to thank Patrick and his father, Arthur, their hospitality and kindness.
    P. D. The muffins were very good, thanks.

  • Patrick is a very nice guy and very responsive. The appartment is simply great! Our family (parents + 2 kids) enjoyed the stay very much. Patrick gave us all necessary information and even provided all info as notes in the appartment (e.g. a map of Salem with interesting points etc., train info etc.). When we came to the appartment we even found fresh muffins (the kids loved it) and some provisions (coffee, milk, water etc.). That was really great! The appartment was perfectly clean, very spacious and equipped with everything you would need (full kitchen, towels etc.). Easy walking distance to the city center. Patrick, many thanks, we had great Easter holidays in Salem!

  • My wife and I feel like home when we step in to the apartment. We really enjoyed the wonderful stay in Patrick's apartment. It is very thoughtful of him who has muffins, orange juices and fresh milk all ready for us. It was a very memorable and unforgettable experience. Patrick has also been very helpful in providing information for me to get to the starting point of Marathon races as well as all the good food/restaurants , places of interest in Salem . Strongly recommended ! Awesome!

  • This (email hidden) to stay in Salem: The apartment is spacious, clean, fully equipped; and fully functional, and situated within easy walking distance of the city center and the commuter rail to Boston. The owners are considerate, efficient, well organized, and gracious. We mentioned what we were doing -- searching for a condo and going to concerts in Boston -- and arrived to find milk and oj in the fridge, and a pack of blueberry muffins on the table, together with local maps, a train schedule, and instructions for the in-house wireless connection. It was perfect.

  • Great location. Immaculately clean. Toasty warm. Simple communication. My family lives nearby, so I hope to make this a frequent home away from home.

Buena ubicación. Impecablemente limpio. Muy cómodo.

  • This (email hidden) to stay while visiting Salem, Boston, Danvers. Walk to everything in Salem including the downtown area (shops, restaurants, museums, small grocery), waterfront area (and ferry to Boston), train station. Patrick and his family are both responsive to any questions and very hospitable. They also provided maps and suggestions for where to eat and visit. The apt is stocked with plenty of cooking utensils, cutting boards, pots and pans, dishes, etc. We cooked and ate in the apt 50% of our time there. Highly recommend this place! Only downside was that the mattresses are a bit thin, but for a week stay our group of 4 were fine.

    Response from Patrick:

Thank-You Sarah for leaving the apt. in such good shape and for the feedback. We actually switched the mattress on the double bed to a thinner one based on feedback from a previous guest that it was too stiff. We left the thick (firm) mattress on the queen bed in the other bedroom so that our guests would have two options to choose from. Patrick Sargent, Salem MA.
