Do you want to get away, I mean really get away and enjoy the peace, quite, culture, and beauty of Hawaii. Come visit our private cottage on a 20 acre organic fruit farm. Our cottage has a private entrance with a nice drive past horses, four wheel drive would be helpful but not entirely necessary.
Our newly built cottage is a one bedroom with a queen bed, but there is plenty of space outside to accommodate some tents when the weather is right. There is a small kitchen inside (no oven, but has a cook-top stove, coffee maker included) as well as a small bathroom and an outdoor shower. Artisan drinking water. Wireless internet access is available within walking distance of the cottage. There is no cellphone service until 2 miles into town. There is satellite TV.
Although we don't have a view of the ocean we are only a quarter mile away from some great beaches, and a short 5mile drive into town. Here is your chance to get away and immerse yourself in the calming nature of Hawaii. We hope to see you soon! Please call or message for directions.
Jeep is best kind of car to rent, because we are in the rainy season and it is the best car for all around here.
One more thing recently everyone who comes wishes that they stayed longer and planned there trip for that,so maybe leave room for all that Hana and Mango cottage has to offer you.

Mona's Cottage was great! Very private and slept great!
The reservation was canceled 23 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We had a lovely time at Mango cottage and wouldn't hesitate to go back again. a very private, lovely piece of paradise.
Experienced no problems getting up the hill to the property and through the creek (which was dry, fortunately) in our Ford Escape rental vehicle.
I would recommend you take some bug spray as there's a lot of mosquito's on the windward side of the island
The hosts were great and the neighborhood was also wonderful. The cottage was clean, private and peaceful. While in Hana, my fiance and I drove by a property that I would have booked instead of Mango cottage had it been available. I'm so glad it wasn't because upon seeing both, we instantly felt that the Mango cottage was the better choice. It was the perfect combination of comfort, seclusion and natural beauty. Note that there is no cell phone reception or internet access on property so plan accordingly.
This was one of the most beautiful place to stay in Maui. We would get up in the morning & go explore the near by Kahanu gardens. Very helpful in exploring nearby places around Hana.
The place is great. Exactly what you need for stay in Hana. Everyone must visit nearby Hanoa beach. One of the best beaches you will ever visit.
This cottage is AMAZING!!! I was with my six-year old son, who had said he wanted a vacation in the jungle, and this place was perfect. The cottage is cozy and set inside their immaculately manicured acreage with the jungle all around. Just feet from the cottage is untamed jungle with an idyllic tumbling stream that you can hear softly in the background. They have two horses you can pet and fruit trees all around. When we arrived the fridge was stocked with fresh pineapple banana bread, papaya, coconut, and watermelon. My son was THRILLED. Randy and Mona were super nice. The only problem that came up was the torrential downpour that hit Hana while we were there. To get to the cottage you have to cross a stream that during strong rains is unpassable (even in a Jeep). Randy was a huge help, even tried driving my Jeep an alternate route to try to get us out. Finally, when there was a break in the rains long enough for the water to lower Randy told us it was best to get out of Hana while we could and didn't charge us for the second night we didn't use. I can't say enough about how much I appreciated their hospitality. If you can avoid the rains their cottage is the PERFECT place for a Hana vacation.
Both the cottage and property are stunning!
We spent 3 nights in the Mango cottage and they were the most peaceful. Not to mention the property Mona and Rady take care of. They were both so generous by giving us fruit and fresh egges and also allowed us to pick any other fruit from the yard.
If you're headed to Hana I'd highly recommend staying here.
Stay at the Mango cottage and you're in for an island experience. Rain or shine it gives you the island feel that everyone MUST experience. I've been to Hana three times before, but this is the first time where I felt I really got to know Hana. In the morning, take time to listen to the birds chirping, the sound of water running down the creek, bees buzzing, and enjoy the site of green, green grass and enormous mango trees. At night, enjoy the spectacular show of stars on the sky. Couldn't ask for a perfect four nights at the mango cottage!
Just wonderful! :-)
