Where you’ll be

Bogotá, Colombia

"El Barrio la Castellana" is a neighborhood in the northwest of Bogota, in the town of Barrios Unidos.

It is a residential neighborhood that has undergone several architectural changes in the last thirty years. It has a wide range of services, such as Olímpica supermarkets on 95, 100 and Sierra streets.

The transportation offer is very high, it has four TransMilenio stations that border the neighborhood, Rionegro and Suba Calle 95 to the west (Avenida Suba), Calle 100 to the east (Autopista Norte), and La Castellana to the south (Avenida NQS).

This makes this area the neighborhood with the largest number of Transmilenio stations in the city. Additionally, there are several bus routes that serve the Castilian community, mainly along Suba Avenue, the North-East Highway and 100th Street.

As 2016, I left my home in Germany to pursue a lifelong dream: Travel the world with my family, having our base in South America. That happened to be in Colombia. When we’re not around I rent our apartments out to cover the expenses and share our beautiful places with people who are looking for a home that is cozy, special and stands out. I love exploring the planet, learning about different cultures and discovering new places. And my mission in life is to enable as many people as possible to do the same. As a family we believe that our characters thrive with new cultural experiences and stories. We love to listen to new, real and authentic stories from foreign people. This is what makes us rich! These are the moments where our characters thrive! Our flats are a melting pot of all these different cultures. I love meeting different people from all over the world and I look forward to getting to know you as a host or traveler. I’ll do my best to ensure you’ll have an incredible time in our place or being a good guest myself, depending on my role :-) Reach out to me. Ask me anything. I’m happy to connect.
