perfect place. highly recommended. Bill responded to my emails super-quickly.
This place was amazing!!! It far exceeded our expectation. If you want a quite AND accessible place to explore the North-East sided of Hawai'i you should book this place! The house has everything, the kitchen was complete and spacious, the washer/dryer was very handy, both rooms are large and very accommodating, nice spacious living area, garage AND a very nice BBQ!
Btw it rained (poured down) 32 hours in the 48 hours we were in the area ;-) WTHAHAND
This is a fantastic house! Recent remodel with beautiful furniture, beds are comfortable and complete with an adorable porch. Overall, a great value.
Beautiful private home that's conveniently located to the Waipi'o valley. The view across the street is quite amazing itself, with calm serene waters stretching miles outward.
We arrived a few hours early, so the house was still locked. Like the description said, there was no cell service. Luckily I connected to wifi and sent Bill a message and got the code to the key lockbox.
Inside the house was clean and tastefully decorated. Everything worked well. Previous guests left some fun stuff in the freezer! A few stray hairs in the bathroom and the couch is on a slant, but who cares, I am kind of crazy like that @_@
At night there was a symphony of frog chirps, dog barks, and cow songs but that died down before we got to bed.
The neighbors are super nice and have cute and adorable happy kids. Of course, I would be this happy growing up in such a paradise. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
We stayed here for just one night. It was a very comfy house, and it was also spotless! Location was great for spending the day in Waipio Valley and the neighbouring town, Honoka'a. Also,it was so awesome that it came with laundry facilities. Bill was easy to communicate with and responded very quickly, even though we didn't meet him in person. I highly recommend this place, especially for a family.
Such a amazing place to stay!
Bamboo Hale is a really nice, big house which was super clean and comfortable.
We only stayed there for one night and didn't meet Bill himself but the contact was perfect so we had no problem to find the place.
This a good place clean and beautiful as the picture on the web site.
Accommodation with everithing you need.
A litle bite noisy with the neighbour.
I recommand this place for a family.
Thoroughly satisfactory experience! The house is exceptionally well cared for, very clean, attractively furnished... all around good taste without glitch. Bill graciously agreed to a one night rental which is not easy to come by but it was all the time we had on that part of the island. The surrounding area is as beautiful as anywhere on the northern coast.
The only difficulty was that I slept in the front bedroom and the traffic sounds were invasive. Let me be clear - there is VERY little traffic on the road in front of the property, but when a noisy truck rolls by at 1 am or 6 am you hear it! Other than that, perfecto!
Totally delightful space, gorgeously remodeled, with all the amenities. Located just above the amazing Waipio Valley!
