There are very few houses in the downtown core. Most are Condominiums. Mine is a Victorian house in the heart of the city.

Harold and his brother Jeff were great host to me and my band. We were in Toronto for a full week during a music conference and we couldn't have been in a better location. Harold is a music lover and encouraged us to play music and feel at home. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped, and the house is tastefully furnished. Both Harold and his brother Jeff were always helpful if any of us guys needed anything. I would recommend this spot to anyone traveling to Toronto.
I stayed at Harold's apartment for 2 weeks on business and it went extremely well! I loved the cozy feel of the home and the access to a full kitchen.
Harold is a great host, who responded always immediately to all our mails. Even though he wasn't in town during our stay, his brother Jeff took care of the apartment, and he couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful.
The apartment is located very convenient for getting around in downtown Toronto. It is also very well equipped, especially the kitchen, so we didn't miss anything. We enjoyed our time there very much and certainly recommend staying at Harold's apartment!
We had a fantastic experience - huge thanks to Jeff (Harold's brother and all-around nice guy) for being such a generous, helpful and friendly host. The house is charming and very cozy - a great home away from home in the heart of the city.
The house was perfect for our needs, the local was great and Jeff (Harold's brother) was very helpful.
We LOVED this place. Perfect location for getting around metro area by foot or car. Also close to freeway. The house has a wonderful vibe. Great decor and you can see that Harold has an appreciation for world culture and travel and cooking! We didn't get to cook unfortunately, but Harold has a very well-stocked kitchen that I would have loved to put to work. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the living area is very condusive to just hanging out with some wine or coffee and friends! Harold and his brother Jeff were very easy to make arrangements with. Very accommodating. And helped us with directions and places of interest. GREAT GREAT STAY!
My wife and I travel to Toronto every September for the Toronto International Film Festival and we're always looking for a convenient place to stay that's close - but not too close - to the center of the action. Harold's place was great for us. It's very comfortable and cozy yet quite expansive. Located steps from King Street but on a side street, it's quiet and calm despite being close to a ton of restaurants and nightclubs. And, for our purposes, the 15 minute walk to the Lightbox on King Street was superb! Plus, the proximity to Jimmy's coffee was much appreciated. There are a few quirks to the apartment (some strange placement of light switches, etc) but nothing significant and we would highly recommend this place for any couple visiting Toronto that wants or needs to stay close to the downtown core.
About the Host, Harold
I love to travel and I love a well stocked kitchen to cook in. I have three adult children that I adore. Sitting staring into an Ocean and Sea is probably my favorite thing to do. Preparing meals for family and friends and newly met people makes me very happy. I love Amarone!
