Located in the quaint town of Dillsboro, this vacation rental lies in the heart of the Smoky Mountains! Conveniently located within walking distance to novelty shops, restaurants, micro-breweries and the Tuckaseegee River. It is near the town of Sylva, Western Carolina University and Hurrahs Casino. Come enjoy hiking in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, mountain biking, white water rafting and fly fishing on the Tuckaseegee and Nantahala Rivers, or skiing at Cataloochee.

The space
Miraflor quest house is in a quiet neighborhood, in the center of the small tourist town of town Dillsboro, yet with in a short drive to Sylva,Waynesville and Asheville. In Dillsbor, near the Post Office there is a charging Station, where you can charge your Electic Vehicles.The area offers something for everyone, outdoor adventure opportunities, a more urban or cultural experience, a visit to Harrah's Casino, a train ride on the Polar Express , a relaxing day at the spa or a romantic getaway.!

If you prefer to stay at the house, enjoy relaxing on the rocking chairs on the front porch while looking out at the mountains. The afternoon lighting is especially nice as the sun sets behind the mountains. The porch has a gate, so small children can play there while moms relax. there is a small metal table on the front porch which can be used for dining for one or two or for holding a laptop. There is also a fenced in yard.

The house is in a quite neighbor hood and it is set up especially as a guest house. Come Stay at MIraflor Guest House during your next visit to Western North Carolina, it is a great place to relax !

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house. Just four steps and you are up on the front porch. In the house yo have access to the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. There is a fenced in yard is available to guests also.

Other things to note
Although Hurricane Helene did have a major impact on Asheville and and nearby areas, the areas of Sylva, Dillsboro and Bryson City were not impacted as much.

There is plenty to do in the area. The restaurants, breweries and shops in the area are up and running. There is whitewater rafting, flyfishing, Ziplining in the Nantahala Gorge, Cherokee to visit and the Great Smoky Mountain Railway to ride on.

This is a great time to visit the area as, the fall foliage is turning brilliant colors. So core visit and tell your friends to come too!

I enjoy the outdoors and Western North Carolina is a wonderful place for hiking, bicycling, paddling and skiing. I have traveled extensively through Central and South America, to China, Tibet and Southern Africa. One of the best parts of traveling is all of the interesting people I meet along the way,.
