A wilderness cottage on the banks of the Lainio River, 13 km from the slopes of Lake Ylläsjärvi. Courtyard road, plowed in winter. Cottage 30m2, electric heating, no running water. Water from a well (with an electric pump) or carried from a river.
Cottage has 2 single beds, dining table, TV, fireplace and armchair. Small kitchen, loft with 2 mattresses. Sauna,tour shower, outdoor wc. Wire in the yard for dogs. In the beach a rowing boat and canoe for use (bring your own life jackets).

Ylläs Ski Center is less than a 20-minute drive away and has something for everyone. At Yllästunturi Nature Center Kellokka you can get information about Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park and the tourist services of Ylläs and Kolari.
Great opportunities for outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, berry picking, skiing, downhill skiing, tobogganing, trekking, hiking, etc. Also ideal for northern lights bong, no light pollution! Eli shop 13km.

Other things to note
No running water. If pets are included, carpets should be removed from the floor, no access to beds or loft. In the yard there is a running rope for the dog, the droppings must be cleaned from the yard area. The cottage must be completely clean of animal hair after cleaning.
All rubbish must be taken away, and the refrigerator must also be emptied on departure. The nearest waste point is about 4 km. Bed linen, towels, toiletries, etc. must be brought by yourself.

There are a total of 63 slopes in Ylläs Ski Resort, numerous guide and program services, e.g. dog sledding, tobogganing, reindeer riding, snowshoeing as well as newer sports such as telemark skiing, kite skiing and winter surfing.
There are several playgrounds for families, on the Ylläsjärvi side, e.g. Eeli store and Ylläsjärvi school. Of the Ylläs nature trails, the absolute favorite of the youngest in the family is the Äkäslompolo Varkaankurun trail.
In winter, the Snowvillage of Lainio has wonderful snow and ice art, e.g. snow suites, an ice restaurant and an ice bar. There you can also visit the reindeer farm or go on a Fatbike winter safari. Snowvillage is located about 10 km from Ylläsjärvi in ​​the direction of Kittilä.
