We are so, so sorry to hear that your first airbnb experience was not what you expected. We are even more sorry that it involved our place. We are avid users of airbnb around the world as guests and we've always had a wonderful experience, despite the occasional unexpected inconvenience that can happen now and then, after all, we are not expecting a high-end hotel experience, but more of a real home feel.
Once again, my apologies, we try very hard to make sure everything is in perfect condition for our guests, as you can see from the positive reviews we've received. As I explained to you before checking in, we had guest there the day before and I guess we were not aware that the showerhead was dangling off the broken hook, however it was still functioning if held by hand.
I want to clarify, that the large 85 Square Meter apartment that you stayed in is completely separate from the adjacent apartment and only connected by lockable door, much like a connecting hotel room. Therefore, completely private, with two separate exterior entrances. Once we heard about the showerhead problem, we immediately allowed you access to the other bathroom, for you convenience, since we were not able to have a plumber come to the apartment on a Friday night. The lack of kitchen towels was truly unfortunate, this should have been address by our cleaners. Sorry again.
I really hope you give airbnb another try as I'm almost certain that you will not be disappointed. You are also welcomed back at our place and I'll assure you that we will try our best to make it up to you.
