Tucked away between crystal clear lakes and grassy meadows 3.5hrs from Toronto on the edge of Georgian Bay, lies a quaint micro-farm cottage off the beaten track - a baby of our B&B. The space
You’re here! Yay! Are you coming to the Bruce Peninsula to hike in a winter wonderland and take your chances at seeing a snowy owl? Or, are you here to kick back, relax and simply be? We are your hosts, Teresa and Craig - here to help you get back to basics. From raising chickens and quail to beekeeping, we have created a little ecosystem for you to indulge in.

This stay has heated floors, ceiling fans and a full kitchenette (stove, microwave, toaster, fridge, freezer) equipped with cooking essentials and extra utensils for long-term stays to accommodate for hearty home-style meals. Both bedrooms have built-in double bunk beds (with flannel sheets in winter) and small dressers. The bathroom is modest, with a select supply of hand and bath towels, wash cloths, shampoo & conditioner and local artisan soap. Outside we have seating for you by your cottage and a covered, private picnic area to accompany the BBQ in summer. Complimentary propane included.

At the epicentre of the property is an inviting outdoor lounge area, where you can get cosy by a communal fire pit before heading back into your cottage to watch Netflix and play board games - all provided. Don’t worry, we have 3 fire pits for all of our guests to use so in peak season, you’ll still be sure to pull up a Muskoka chair. Firewood is available for $5/bag.

This year, we will have snowshoes for you to rent for the trails and at the front of the property, you can skate until your heart's content on our small ice rink! It’s safety first here so you won’t mind the 6.30AM snow plough in the depths of winter along the lane to ensure our roads are driver-friendly!

On a property where the silence is all-consuming, you will become acquainted with wildlife, farm animals and sustainable local products like our fresh free-range eggs and quail eggs (subject to availability) and raw wildflower honey. At the darkest point of night, you will see an array of star constellations and in the early hours of morning, hummingbirds gather to feed at the porch of our main house and outside your window in the kitchen in summer. Our cottage is open all-season with an intentional lifestyle catering to both the hottest summer days and the chilliest winter nights.
