Other Things to Note
Everybody who has been to Ærø has loved it and wanted to stay longer.
As they would in their own homes.
We really enjoyed our stay in Aeroskobing. The cottage was very comfotable and Collette very kindly made arrangements for us to arrive at the cottage very late after we missed our ferry.
A warm, well furnished house in a private courtyard. We lacked for nothing during our stay. We had excellent communication with Collette prior to our arrival, and after we did arrive she was most gracious in making sure that we had everything that we needed to be comfortable without ever intruding on our privacy. I can't say enough good things about our stay!
Colette made us feel very welcome and was very cordial and considerate! She was flexible when we were in need to arrive early, due to certain circumstances during our trip. The house was well-prepared for our arrival; almost everything we needed was provided. The living space was clean and comfortable and it was lovely walking into the kitchen with a fresh vase of flowers on the table. The adorable house is set in a beautiful, cozy, quiet little courtyard. Someone did a wonderful job with the plants and flowers surrounding the house. :) The setting is very private while being nestled in a lovely part of the little town. We felt very safe there.
Collette was not able to be there while we were staying but left the keys very accessible with the name and phone number of a local contact. Colette had left fresh flowers in the kitchen and living room. The historic neighbourhood was quiet and charming.
Collette was very nice and welcoming. The house was lovely as well as her gorgeous garden. We appreciated her thoughtfulness and attention to details like fresh flowers and use of a soccer ball for our two children. We would highly recommend staying at Collette's home. It is a wonderful location and we had a great time staying here.
My parents stayed with Collette during my wedding! They loved their apartment, and enjoyed comforts of home:kitchenette, a study where my Dad could read, comfortable bed, and a great location. Us Americans are not accustomed to a lot of the showers in Europe, but they adapted. The floors in the apartment were beautiful! Collette made them feel right at home and was very accommodating. We would stay there and recommend it to anyone.
