Simple, cozy and silent room in a lived house (me and my son Tommaso) in a nice area of Bologna, that offers amazing food, great museums and green places. Room is equipped with secretary, chairs, closet, night tables, three single beds. Solo travelers and couples will find a double bed. No locker. Kitchen and bathroom are shared and must be kept clean.
Confirmed guests will find address, contacts, rules, directions from/to airport or station within the Airbnb confirmation email, please read it!

The space
Please take two minutes of your time to read entirely the description, thank you!

The room is comfortable for up to three people. Please see detailed pictures!
It doesn't have a locker, have trust :)

The house is big and comfortable, with WiFi, refrigerator, oven, microwaves, kettle, coffee makers, iron board, hair dryer, soap, shampoo etc.
BUT the house is an old one. Old houses have a lot of imperfections, and sometimes they seem messy, but they are just old. Also, my books and memories are everywhere, we live here since 2007. Please think in advance if this could be for you, instead of coming and being disappointed because you think my place is dirty and messy.
I periodically plan to renovate and modernize some parts by myself, that of course requires time and money. Actually I am planning the renovation of painting on walls, so please be comprehensive if I still have to do it for when you come.

Even if my house is an old one, I am very affectionated to it, also because it was the house of a great and famous poet, writer and film director during his teenage in mid thirties last century - Pier Paolo Pasolini, for the ones who know him.

Shared bathroom and kitchen are available for you (please ask in advance if you would like to cook). Keep them clean!

Smoking is allowed only on the small balcony in the kitchen or inside the kitchen close to window open.

Unfortunately I cannot offer a regular use of the washing machine as I use it frequently, but it could be possible to add your stuff to my laudry.

I'm an actress, waiter and yoga teacher, and mother of a young boy, I like music, to go out, to do sports, to enjoy events in my city, to hang out with friends.
Sometimes I might have different guests at the same time.

It's been a long time that I do airbnb and I really like the human exchange it offers, I made friends for a life through the website. I like to help guests in anything they may need, and to hang out with them, if they like as well and if I have time. I'm also very considerate of their privacy and willing to stay alone.

Please also take note that this is a lived house!
We are very open, warm and helpful people, check in is available at any time (with a welcoming tea or coffee :), you will have your own keys of the house and no deposit is asked for staying here, we trust in people! I clean several times a day, but please understand that sometimes I don't have the time to put everything in the perfect order, and especially if there are other guests, I don't have control of the shared spaces 24 hours a day.

Staying at my place is a genuine italian family experience. If you are looking for a warm, friendly and welcoming place, this could be the right place for you. If, instead, you are looking for a perfect and aseptic place, a hotel room could work better :)

The apartment is situated in a old and typical bolognese palazzo, very close to Piazza Malpighi, which is a crucial public transportation square.
But probably, you will never need to take a bus to do sightseeing :)
In the very nearby you have Via Saragozza with 666 arches (longest portico of the world), leading you to Santuario di San Luca; San Francesco Church with the Glossatori Tombs; the Collegio di Spagna with his beautiful portale; and Via del Pratello, famous street with a lot of bars, osterie and jazzclubs. The principal Bologna square, Piazza Maggiore, and all the main monuments are in a range of 10-15 minutes walking distance - Bologna historical center inside the walls is 40 minutes from wall to wall.

I provide a great map in english, teas and coffees, many tips about places to see and restaurants to go eating traditional bolognese food, and a lot of kindness :-)

The price includes linens and towels.

After booking you will receive my authomatic instructions about reaching my place from airport or from central station, you will find them at the end of the email confirming the booking. Please check those instructions and keep them with you.

I am an actress, a barlady/waiter, a mother, a yogi, a foodwinebeermankind lover and much more. I am an honest, upfront but hands off host. I really like to travel as well as my lovely guests, and everytime I meet someone new through airbnb, I smile and I travel a little with them, dreaming about close or far destinations. If I have time, it's a pleasure for me to hang out with the people I host; if not, anyway I do my best for them making themselves home, having a good time and making the most in this amazing city where I live that is Bologna. I am not perfect, my house's not perfect too! But I decided to share it, opening the door to strangers, the good the bad and the weird. If you are that type of guest who feels the need to find every possible reason to report or complain about, please, stay elsewhere :) Otherwise, if you like me strongly believe in human beings, and find an interesting thing to get in contact with people raised in different cultures, I'll be very happy to host you in my place!
