Interaction with Guests
As soon as you make a reservation with me, you'll receive an email w/ info about parking, directions (w/ shortcuts!), your keyless entry code, and lots of additional info about the property and neighborhood.
Then - I'm pretty much hands off. My philosophy is a bit different from many hosts and is simply this: you are coming to Pittsburgh to attend a conference, go to a class, attend a wedding, sightsee, catch up w/ old friends. You're not here to hear me jibber jabber on the phone to you every day--you're here to enjoy yourself.
However, I encourage all guests to call or email me if they have any questions, have a specific need, or if they require any assistance.

Julie's East End flat was perfect for our stay. It is in a very walkable part of town and central to all of the activities we had planned. What makes this rental special is Julie herself. She provided so much useful information, both before we arrived and at the property itself. She is personable and friendly and responded instantly to every question we had. I am sorry that we didn't get to meet while my husband and I were in Pittsburgh but hopefully we will meet when we go to move our son out of university in the spring.
The place was great! I booked it for my parents and they absolutely loved it! There was even coffee supplies for them which made them so happy! They said they would stay there again any time they were visiting Pittsburgh! The decor was cute and the place felt super cozy!
Apartment was great and as advertised. In a great little neighborhood with good restaurants and easy access to most parts of the city. Julie was always very prompt and helpful and made everything very easy. Would definitely stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Pittsburgh thanks to Julie. Her home is comfortable, clean and very conveniently located. We would not hesitate to stay with her again.
Julie gave such thorough information about the apartment, the neighborhood and transportation around Pittsburgh before I arrived that I felt completely prepared leading up to my trip. The apartment was clean, cozy and perfect for a short trip.
We had a great visit! Apartment was exactly as described. Cute and very clean. Julie was very helpful during the whole process. She even contacted us prior to the visit to warn us about the marathon that would have a lot of roads closed on the day of our arrival.
