The cottage is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac amongst several other nearby cottages and is within walking distance to the Cape Fear River Trail. The neighborhood is surrounded by woods and the cottage backs up to the riverfront. You can take the bike trail to the right and find a waterfall, a wooden train bridge, and mountain bike trails. If you take the trail to the left, you will find a wetlands area, a wooden bridge, and Clark Park/Nature Center. It is not uncommon to see deer running through the neighborhood and into the woods.

Hello! My husband, Dan, and I, are long-time Fayetteville and Haymount residents. We are not only local business owners, but also very involved in the city and community, and run Happenin' in Haymount - the local Haymount community organization. We have a large family of 4 children, who have begun leaving the nest. Recently downsizing, we are opening up our large family-friendly home to others who may enjoy it just as we have for so many years. :) We look forward to meeting new people from all around the world and being gracious hosts for you!
