  • Cristina was a lovely host who met us at the apartment and gave us a tour when we arrived. She left a bottle of cava in the fridge to welcome us and even sent us a link a couple of days later for free entry to La Sagrada Familia.

It was my fault to not read the listing clearly, but based on the pictures (because of the two different bed spreads), I had thought there were two bedrooms instead of one. It didn't matter and entirely my fault, but I thought I'd warn people who were thinking the same thing!

The apartment was clean and in a great location for Barcelona! Like other reviewers mentioned, it can get quite noisy at night as it's so central to everything, so be prepared to bring ear plugs.

Besides a loose bathroom door handle and a loose shower head, everything was in great condition and we would gladly stay here again!

  • the apartment was represented accurately. Safe and perfect location for getting around in Gothic Barcelona. Cristina was quick to answer any e-mail or text when making reservations. The lift and good A/C and a balcony were great features.
Would stay at this location again.

  • This apartment is in a great location. Within walking distance to so many sites and only 15 minute walk to the beach (if you don't get lost :) ) The apartment was clean and we were immediately greeted with a bottle of water, truffles, and our favorite, a bottle of cava. Christina was super accomodating when we arrived later than expected and was quick to fix our shower when we lost hot water. Within 30 minutes everything was restored. The apartment came with all the essentials as well: towels, soap, fresh linens, toilet paper, paper towels, iron and a hair dryer, which was great for us since we had the wrong kind of hair dryer from the US and the converter would not work with it. The apartment is pretty loud at night, so if you expect to sleep all the way through the night, bring your earplugs. The shower is also not quick to drain, but you get used to it.

  • Great location. The building is very old, but charming.

  • Milans Dorado was an excellent place to stay & Cristina was very helpful when it came to providing directions to the apartment from the airport via transit or taxi. She was prompt to answer any questions I had and answer phone calls. She wasn't there when I arrived but had a friend waiting for me at the apartment. The apartment was clean & had everything I needed. There was construction down the street and a bar nearby that created some noise but overall I enjoyed my stay.

  • What an adorable apartment! Very hip, stylish, and comfortable. The place had everything we wanted-- great location in the Bari Gotico, balcony, air conditioning, fast WiFi, comfortably firm mattress, roomy shower, lovely and chic decor.

    Muchas Gracias Christina!

  • Though we never met Cristina (she sent her friend to meet us at the apartment), we chatted briefly on the phone when we got to Barcelona. Her place is right in the heart of Barri Gotic. If you don't want to hear the life of the city around you, this isn't the place for you. We loved it!
The place is clean and convenient, and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.
