  • Great place to stay. Michael and Tara are great hosts. Not close to Hollywood, but hey, LA is a big city. Impossible to be close to everything no matter what part of town in which you're staying. This one is close to the beaches, Pacific Coast Highway, and within walking distances to eateries.

  • Michael and Taya are nice hosts. I love the way they show people about themselves in the guest room. Their house is spacious and clean, close to the beaches and airport, which is quite convenient. Besides, they provide so much travel info to explore LA in different ways.

  • Lovely house in a nice quiet street. Enjoyed our short stay there very much. Would definitely return. Thank you for letting us check-out late. Cheers!

  • Tara and Michael attentive hosts. Their house is very cozy. It is nice to be. Wonderful atmosphere at home, clean and tidy. Loved the plot next to the house with oranges, lemons and a small fountain. Very happy with the trip.

  • I had a great stay! The house was cozy and in a convenient location. Tara and Michael were really accommodating hosts, and I wish I had more time during my stay to check out some of their recommendations of things to do in the area. They were great hosts and made sure I was comfortable - they had spare bathroom stuff (shampoo, body wash) which was great since I forgot mine, and even gave me extra blankets + a heater for my room (which, coming from polar vortex Chicago, wasn't necessary. But it was still appreciated!). Thanks again for everything!

  • Michael and Tara have a beautiful home. I felt comfortable in it as soon as I arrived. The area is fun and full of friendly locals! Go to the del Rey Kitchen for dinner and 90 West for drinks after if you'd like to meet them :) Also took their bike out for a ride on the Balboa trail to the beach. Had a wonderful first few days in Los Angeles!

  • Micheal and Tara's comfortable place was a home away from home! They were very inviting and helpful, offering restaurant suggestions in the area (Del Rey Kitchen was delicious!) and letting us use their bikes. Their house was also very convenient and accessible to many locations and was very clean and tidy. Michael and Tara were such wonderful hosts, we would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks again Michael & Tara for an awesome week! Enjoy the holidays with family!!

About
Hi, we look forward welcoming you to our home! We travel frequently internationally, backpacking-style or for business, we use AirBnB most of the times, when we don't have a personal contact in the destination. Michael is a meeting planner, moved to LA in the mid 90's, I am from Stuttgart. Tara, moved about the same time from Toronto/Milton, she works as a nurse. We enjoy to cook with our own veggies, that grow in our front yard. LA has soooo much to offer and we take advantage, be it Theater, all kinds of Concerts, cultural and ethnic events, hiking or biking at along the Pacific Ocean (just minutes away from our house, by bike). Hey and Michael used to be a tour guide for many years, here in L.A., and all of the Southwest (CA, UT, AZ, NV).
