The beautiful small cozy warm apartment, with kitchen and two balconies! It is located very conveniently, in the center of Paris, a row some metro stations. Nearby the market with fresh food, some supermarkets. Remained are very happy! We recommend strongly to all! Vyacheslav, Moscow
View of the Eiffel Tower from the bedroom.... need I say more? Would stay here again thanks to the view. It has a tiny bathroom and the kitchen even smaller, but I didn't come to Paris to cook. :)
The views are fabulous, especially the dome of Les Invalides in the morning light and the Eiffel Tower all lit up at night. You may find the apartment a bit cramped if you have more than two adults or a lot of luggage. Sarah was an accommodating host and her directions for getting into the apartment are excellent and easy to follow.
Great apartment, great location and Sarah made it very easy to get in and out, with clear communication. We enjoyed staying here and it's an easy recommendation!
We had a wonderful time in Sarah's apartment! She is very easy to work with and we had no issues getting to/into the flat. When we arrived, it was an unusually warm day, and the flat was blazing hot! Luckily, we had plans to leave so we just opened some windows and turned the air on. By the time we got back many hours later, it had cooled down. The rooms are spacious, and the decks/bedroom window have incredible views. The shower was interesting and different from what we are used to (no shower curtain and you have to hold the nozzle), but it was not an issue at all!
It is centrally located near many cafes, the metro, bakeries, a market, pharmacie, and just a short walk to the Eiffel Tower!
I definitely recommend staying here on your trip to Paris!
Apartment was located in a nice, quieter neighborhood away from much of the cities hustle and bustle yet it was a perfect walking distance to the Eiffel Tower as well as many museums and galleries. The apartment had bright windows with wonderful views and had all the amenities as listed. Sarah was very helpful and was always easy to get a hold of via email with any questions or concerns I had.
We stayed at Sarah's apartment at the end of May. Contrary to another may review, we found the process of communicating with Sarah, gaining access to her apartment and accessing Wi-Fi easy. Yrs, her apartment is small by Australian standards but we felt it was typically European: an extremely economical use of space. My husband is just over 6 ft tall so he had to be a little careful in the sloping walls of shower and kitchen sink but didn't find it a problem. I confess that I prefer a high-fixed wall shower rather than hand-held, but for 5 days it was fine...indeed, I started to feel a bit like a Parisian by the end of our lovely stay with Sarah! Highlights: watching the Eiffel tower light up for 5 mins on the hr after dark from the bedroom window (gorgeous!), Sarah's great company, help/suggestions and answers, a lovely farewell meal, comfy bed, very quiet, very secure apt, great location close to 2 metro lines, 25 min walk to Eiffel tower, thur morning local market; Low light: hand shower, typical Paris rain! Recommended if you accept smaller size.
This is a challenge. The views from Sarah's are wonderful. Many nights we returned and watched the Eiffel Tower light up. The view was spectacular.
Negatives were general cleanliness.
We never met or talked with Sarah.
Directions on wifi and access were buried in an airbnb page. We got in by accident and never had wifi for 3 days.
Bathroom is small, client needs to deal with it, walls cannot be moved.
Hido Yashidas pastries from across the boulevard are beyond excellent. We would return for those alone.
Me, my girlfriend and our 9 month old son stayed in Sarah´s wonderful flat in the end of april.
The flat has an amazing balcony where we could sit at night while our son slept.
The location is superb, within walking range of lots things and streets to see, and it´s close to nearest subway.
We would definitely stay there again!
My wife and I just stayed for 11 days at Sarah's apartment. The location and view, exactly as the photos showed, was just superb. We particularly enjoyed the direct view of both the Eiffel Tower and the golden dome of Invalides at the same time when you sit down for dinner in the dining table.
The apartment is not big by American standards, as expected, but just right for us. Some reviewers have mentioned about the bathroom being small. It was but we have no problem with it. If you are six foot ten, then it might be a problem.
The area is really nice, very safe neighborhood with a Patisserie around the corner that has great baguettes and very friendly proprietor.
Arranging for the apartment with Sarah was no problem at all. She was also very nice and accommodating as we have to come abit early so we can return our rental car in time. She made the extra effort to accommodate us, we really appreciate that. She also responded when we communicated through email.
Another strong reason why we like this apartment is the Avenue de Saxe market on Thursdays and Saturdays. The seafood available was just excellent and we enjoyed the palm-sized shrimps and live sea scallops at a reasonable price. Something one cannot do staying in a hotel.
Overall, my wife and I had an excellent experience and really enjoyed our stay at Sarah's apartment. We would love to go back again some time in the future.
