  • Johanna & Lasse
  • Taverna Kreta

This tiny Greek restaurant one minute from our flat is always full of people who come for hearty meals at low rates - not great dining experiences.
Jagtvej CPH Capital Region of Denmark 2200
  • Meyers Bageri

Behind the counter of this tiny bakery you will both find some of the city’s best bread and pastry, and arrogant attendants, who are too cool to smile at somebody as mediocre and uninspiring as you.
    Jægersborggade København Hovedstaden 2200
  • Relæ

Modern Michelin-starred restaurant in nearby Jægersborggade. Natural wines etc.
    Jægersborggade København Hovedstaden 2200
  • Lyst

Very nice cafe on Jægersborggade, which has a number of good places to eat drink and shop. Cosy, decent prices and even a simple but tasty selection of food.
Jægersborggade CPH Capital Region of Denmark 2200
  • Mikkeller & Friends

The world-class micro-brewery Mikkeller has just opened a bar 2 mins from our flat. It is good :-)
Stefansgade CPH Capital Region of Denmark 2200
  • Oysters & Grill

Meat and seafood. Delicious. Reasonably priced. Popular. Cool set-up.
Sjællandsgade Copenhagen Capital Region of Denmark 2200
  • Kiwi

The supermarket, where we get most of our groceries from.
    Jagtvej København N Hovedstaden 2200
  • Nordisk Brødhus

The Nordic Breadhouse is a bakery and restaurant famous for its wood-fired stone oven. The bread and cheap dinner is delicious and brunch in the sidewalk sun is spectacular.
Rantzausgade Copenhagen Capital Region of Denmark 2200
  • Sabotøren

The small Saboteur serves excellent natural and organic wines and delicious charcuterie at cheap prices in a friendly and informal setting. Lasse goes all the time.
  • Vi mødtes gennem ruden

The waiters are dreadlocked and barefoot at the very reasonably priced cafe We Met Through The Window.
    Heimdalsgade Copenhagen Hovedstaden 2200
  • Torvehallerne

Very good local and international produce and delicacies. Probably the closest thing Copenhagen has to a farmer’s market.
    Frederiksborggade København Hovedstaden 1360
  • Restaurant Melee

Charming French restaurant. Simple but great food and wine at very reasonable prices, in a nice setting. Service it not always up to par though, but you cant get everything, can you?
Martensens Alle Frederiksberg C Hovedstaden 1828
  • Kødbyens Fiskebar

FISH, FISH, FISH. And a bit of meat. Good food and coctails. In the revived meatpacking district. Bib gourmand. Nordic.
Flæsketorvet Copenhagen Capital Region of Denmark 1711
  • Mesteren & Lærlingen

Johanna used to work at this excellent bar in the meatpacking district. Lively local hangout. Unpretentious and crowded. Good place to party.
    Flæsketorvet København Hovedstaden 1711
  • Il Buco

This one is a real insiders tip. Run by aficionados rather than professional chefs, Il Buco serves up excellent Italian fare. Brooklynesque setting, set menus, low prices, great wine, booking advised
    Njalsgade Copenhagen Hovedstaden 2300
  • Amass

Probably the best meal Lasse has had since dining at 3-star restaurants in Burgundy. Matt Orlando (La Bernadin, The Fat Duck, Noma) cooks up nordic fusion. Book 60 days in advance or go for table 153.
    Refshalevej Copenhagen Hovedstaden 1432
