Hiking - The iconic Mountain-to-Sea trail is ON this residential road. A short 3 minute walk down the hill

Inside a large kitchen, and plenty of room.

Bedroom is a KING bed with full closet, and large 4 foot mirror.

Couch can be made up to sleep a third person in the living room.

Mostly private yard and back deck, surrounded by bamboo.

The space
The house was a cottage back in the 50s. It's been expanded significantly. You'll enjoy a living room with a high-top dining table, a kitchen with a breakfast table, full laundry room, full and small bathroom with tub, and a cozy bedroom with an additional air conditioner. There is central heat and A/C but to keep the sleeping area even more regulated there is additional cooling.

This house is our part time residence, and filled with high quality items - not the general TJ max AirBnB items.

TV has a Fire Stick, log in to your streaming accounts and watch from the couch.

Dedicated work space at the desk in the living room.

Great walking from the house. You can walk or run on the mountains-to-sea trail. Take a right out of the driveway and go to the bottom of the hill. Bear off to the right and follow the gravel to the power lines. This will connect you to the MST trail. Go left or right, both are beautiful.

To walk from the house on the ROAD go left out of the driveway, and on to Onteora. If you go left you'll see horses, if you go right you'll cross a bridge and the neighborhoods on the left are quite, cozy, residential and nice to walk through.

Pick up I-240, or Highway 40 easily from the house (1 mile, and 2 miles respectively). Easy access to Hendersonville road, and to downtown Asheville. 12 minutes to Black Mountain, 5 minutes to downtown Asheville, 10 minutes to Swannanoa.

All areas of the main house, except for the locked second bedroom.

Other things to note
The stove is finicky. It works great but you need to use the touchpad gently for it to sense your input.

Neighborhood highlights

Located in the Oakley neighborhood, within walking distance there are two parks, a convenience store, and a basketball court. Lovely neighborhood for walking, with a horse ranch 0.5 miles away. The BEST part of the neighborhood is easy access to the mountains-to-sea trail, the lovely single-track mountain trail that parallels the Blue Ridge Parkway, located off of your street.
