Designed for couples seeking relaxation, The Cottage blends modern luxury with the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Inside you'll enjoy:
• King-size bed with panoramic mountain views
• Floor-to-ceiling folding glass doors that completely open to the outdoors
• Spacious screened-in porch
• Private outdoor soaking tub perfect for sunset or stargazing (closed Nov-April)
• Thoughtfully designed studio layout with upscale finishes
Step outside and explore nearly 60 acres of peaceful countryside. Guests love:
• Three scenic hiking trails
• Two peaceful ponds
• Uhler Point overlook
• Wildlife viewing
• Incredible sunsets
Whether you're sipping coffee on the porch while deer wander by or enjoying a glass of Virginia wine in the outdoor tub after a day of exploring wineries, The Cottage was designed to help you slow down and reconnect with nature.

Guests enjoy exclusive use of The Cottage while sharing access to the surrounding property with other Perkins Hollow Retreat guests.
Shared amenities include:
• Nearly 70 acres to explore
• Three hiking trails
• Two ponds
Self check-in makes arrival easy. On the morning of your stay, we'll send your unique door code and everything you'll need for a seamless check-in and check-out experience.
Other things to note
We are surrounded by wooded areas so you will see the occasional wildlife. Please come prepared with sunscreen and bug spray.
Electric and motor vehicles (dirt bikes, ATVs, 4-wheelers, etc) are not permitted on the property.
No Hunting.
You may fish catch and release only with BARBLESS hooks.
Please contact us for on-site wedding inquiries.
The outdoor tub will be closed from November to April to prevent freezing pipes.
