  • Staying with Jodi and Teo was absolutely wonderful. I was only there for a few nights but the space was very clean, comfortable, and organized. Everything was neatly labelled and the directions were very clear. Jodi was very patient about any questions that I had and was very welcoming! :) The bus stop to Downtown Seattle is just a short walk away, and the neighborhood itself is quiet and peaceful. Thank you for everything! :)

  • I stayed 5 weeks at the little farmlette and it was a wonderful experience!

The house is really cozy and easily appropriate place. This is exactly like pictures. I went in Seattle for my work and the house allowed me to do this when i wanted. My girlfriend also joined me for two weeks and it weas very well: she's well integrated and we also had moments of intimacy .
Walking distance to a beautiful view on the Mount Rainier (when it's not rainy and cloudy), to Starbucks and to the bus to downtown. It is not necessary to have a car if you want to go Downtown (one direct bus), but it is if you want to travel in the metropolitan area as I did. The place is very accessible and convenient by car.
Jodi and Teo will welcome you with kindness and generosity. They may try to feed you with delicious meals ! I enjoyed so much my staying here and it is both a good memory and a step forward in my work.

Sorry if Jodi gold Teo you talk about french hours ... It's my fault . Remember me if it's coming!

Finally a very nice place to stay for every time you are in Seattle !

  • My friend Zac and I had the pleasure of staying at the Farmlette for 6 nights and our experience there was nothing short of perfect. Jodi's attention to detail makes staying in the house very straightforward. Everything for guest use is clearly labeled and easy to find. I felt like I could have just showed up with the shirt on my back and found everything else I needed to make myself feel at home there. We awoke every morning to the smell of multigrain hot cereal simmering in the slow cooker in the kitchen which made for a perfect start to each of our busy days touring Seattle. We even got to enjoy some of their homegrown potatoes. YUM! Jodi and Teo were very respectful and were available if we needed them for anything but very much behind the scenes otherwise, as was Asha, their amazing dog. If you're looking for a charming, cozy, country feeling that's close to everything including a short trip to downtown Seattle with welcoming, accommodating and friendly hosts, the Farmlette is the place to stay. Thank you Jodi for creating such a wonderful place to call home away from home!

  • This was such a wonderful experience! Jodi took the time to introduce us to the urban farm and let us do some feeding. The room was lovely and a lot of nice touches were added e.g. our names, which made it feel very homely and welcoming. Thanks Jodi for being such a great host!!

  • Jodi has created the MOST wonderful little farm that I have seen. She is exceptional in her organizational skills and has the cleanest, and MOST CHARMING little cottage for her guests. Her cottage is just within 10 minutes of the airport and very convenient to downtown and the Interstate. I enjoyed my stay immensely! She is a warm and caring proprietor, so kind to meet all of your needs. I would HIGHLY recommend this accommodation for your stay in this area!

  • Jodi's farmlette is clean, cozy, comfortable and cute. Since we were in Seattle for a very short time we spent all of it exploring the city. We met Jodi only briefly and hope that next time we visit Seattle we'll have some time to get to know her and her animals.

  • Jodi's guesthouse is cute. I arrived late & left early, so I didn't actually meet Jodi. This might not be the place for someone who doesn't like a lot of rules, but since all I did was sleep, it didn't bother me.

  • Very nice place!

    October 2013
  • Overall place was clean and satisfying but the owner was our major concern. The reviews don't reflect her attitude. We stayed with another couple in the same guesthouse and they told us to 'watch out' but we had no idea. There are so many rules that it is hard to follow everything. We came down for a stress less vacation and were met with uneasiness. She was quite rude to myself and the other guests about parking & our two dogs.

The place is clean and the room was big enough for 1 person, however, be warned that there are many many many rules to follow.

    Response from Jodi:

wow, how is it we could be rude to you or your dogs when we've never met? i'm not understanding how the rules are suddenly now too many when just before completing your reservation you agreed to follow them and told me in writing, quote: "everything looks great!" even at this moment you have not followed through with your word to finish your profile, so we were taking you on honor alone, which has certainly been tarnished.

the room is as small/big as advertised, and literally hundreds of folks have stayed there, some three at a time very happily in that very room! could it be that your uneasiness came after you bizarrely intruded on our sleeping family in our own studio elsewhere on the property after midnight, without any prior communication, and didn't give a subsequent apology nor reason for the violation at any point during your stay?

we are astonished and unhappy with this outcome, as we bent over backwards to ensure you had the utmost in flexibility to enjoy the guesthouse with your dogs, including giving you self check-in access, written directions, house manual (including where to park, wifi info, where to find breakfast, etc), and all the usual amenties, all to accommodate your very last-minute request. your comments don't follow suit with any others below nor of your actual experience.
